They're basic white coffee mugs, larger than a typical mug (at least based on the mugs I already owned) so if you like to add things to your cup there'll be plenty of room in there. A couple of the mugs I got have "drippy" glaze on the inside, nothing that compromises the functionality of the mug by any means, but you can see that the surface isn't perfect. They feel good in the hand. They'll technically stack in the cupboard, but I wouldn't stack them more than 2 high, because they don't stack securely. I enjoy using products without large logos and other branding. The crisp white color keeps things simple and there is no distracting or busy pattern. The mugs have a timeless look and go with any decor. It is also extremely easy to see when they are dirty because of this. These have washed great and I have not noticed any pitting or scratching on the glaze. Thankfully, the handle is not too small to effectively use (unlike some of my other mugs) and they have a nice lip (not too thick or thin). These are perfect for a cup of coffee or tea. ... show more

I wanted largish white coffee mugs. Not fancy little cups with little handles. And I wanted something that didn't look boring or industrial. These 14-oz. mugs exceeded my expectations. At first I thought they were too simple, almost like a mug you'd get in a diner. But the porcelain sheen denotes a higher quality, and they don't have a thick ridge like a diner mug. FYI: inside one of the cups I can see a drip glaze mark; a minor flaw. I have so many lovely cups & saucers from years of dishware, but nobody drinks from them. So these are a good balance of something that will go with classic white dishes, and won't look like something you'd buy at a souvenir stand that would spark in your microwave. I would call the color a white with a slight warm tint. Not snow-in-the-sun bright white. While these are made in China, I do trust the name Oneida to at least stand behind its products, and be easily reachable if things go wrong. ... show more

Simple, sleek design. Comfortable to hold. Durable and cleans easily. They have an excellent wide mouth, making them great for kids and hot cocoa. Although they are light in weight, they are sturdy and feel well-made. They are precisely what you would expect from Oneida.

I love these simple white, quality mugs. The style and color make them very versatile, and they go well with my classic white dinnerware that I have. They are made of porcelain, which will maintain their nice look. However, be careful when warming a drink in the microwave, because porcelain gets very hot to the touch. Use a glove to remove and do not use for children. The small pamphlet states the same, but I wanted to reiterate that. They come boxed well to protect the mugs. They are 14 ounce mugs and in the picture I put 10 ounces of coffee. These are worth the price. ... show more
