  • You have options.
You can remove the threaded plug to use as a standard sub pole. This pole is well built, strong and sturdy. A very good buy for the money.

  • Sturdy, decent value, be prepared to struggle removing the M20 lug.
Overall it's a very stable unit. I set it up with a 12 over 12 and it held firm, no wobbles/tilt. This will definitely simplify and clean up my setup. Taking the M20 lug out was a ROYAL pain though (Yes, I removed the set screw before trying to remove it :P). I ended up chewing up the lug getting it off. Good thing I don't need it! ... show more

  • Careful with that weight load on your sub...
This pole could hold up more than some subs are built to support. Otherwise, this pole is SOLID. I've got a MACKIE THUMP15 sitting atop an EV 18" passive sub that can support the MACKIE'S weight. This pole is very sturdy, not going anywhere, doesn't wobble, MAKE SURE YOUR SUB CAN HANDLE THE WEIGHT YOU PLAN ON PUTTING ONTO THIS POLE. I have an EV 12" powered sub that is recommended by the manufacturer that you not put more than U.S. 25 pounds on it. So be advised. Consult your specs for the weight of your satellites or whatever. ... show more

What else is there to say. It did the job, my speaker feels secure and threaded into my Mackie Sub perfectly.
