  • Great price for bulk stick.
Size: On Stage Maple 5B Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
I am a metal drummer that plays very aggressive, so of course about every show I break 1 or 2 sticks. This gets 5 stars for the price. Each pair is less than $2. My favorite sticks are $11 a piece. The sticks will sometimes have different weights, will break if playing aggressive, but the price is well worth the sticks. ... show more

  • I would buy again

  • UPDATE: Half the pairs broke during one show
Size: On Stage Maple 5A Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
UPDATE: Now I understand the other posts. I took the box with me to a show and broke literally through half the pairs during one show. In a way, this isn't a cheaper option. They won't last a lot of shows and regular good sticks a pair would cost you around $10. Better off going with some quality pieces. But for practice, they're fine. Been drumming for over a decade, and these definitely are fine for the price. They are thick but feel very light, therefore if you have no control and bang sticks, this isn't for you. They lasted me a month but I only play a few hours a day and a few times a week. Also the first ten years of playing, I would bang my sticks unnecessarily but I've mastered my control throughout the years, so they've lasted me some time. Might buy again. ... show more

  • Very surprised after reading the other reviews!
Size: On Stage Maple 5B Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
While these sticks are "budget cheap" sticks, I have to say they exceeded my expectations by a long shot! They are real light as others have said, but I really didn't have the issues with them breaking like many others have stated. I'd consider myself a medium power player. I don't bash my drums. All I can think is these people must not play with any dynamics what so ever if they are breaking as fast as they claim!!! I maybe had a stick or two out of 24 that I thought could of lasted a bit longer, but for their weight and price- they're great! Though they are no vic firths, or other sticks that run 8 to 16 dollars a pair, they are a steal for the price! You just can't compare these in that kind of league! That's like buying a pinto and complaining it's not as good as a corvette!!! Lol.... if your a "basher", then maybe spend a few more bucks and go the more sturdy route. I think an average attack drummer who likes lighter sticks will be surprised! I am reviewing the wood tips by the way! The last "budget" plastic tips I bought, I can't say the same about! The tips shot off before the sticks had a chance to break! Anyways, these ones have been surprising for me personally! They've held up through a few 4-hour gigs already and I haven't went through but a couple pair! ... show more

  • I really like these sticks
Size: On Stage Maple 5B Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
I really like these sticks! I've bought three bundles of them and use for church. They do break a bit easier than other sticks but overall I think these have a nice feel and good weight. I bought more expensive 5B sticks and still prefer these... or maybe it's because I'm cheap. haha

  • Cheap, very lightweight, break easily
Size: On Stage Maple 7A Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
I bought these not expecting much with the super low price, and I got about what I was expecting. Whatever kind of maple they’re made of is about the lightest maple I’ve ever seen, the sticks are almost weightless. I’ve only used them at band practice and I’ve been averaging about 2-3 broken sticks per practice session (about an hour of play time), and I wouldn’t say I hit all that hard. I’m sure they’d be fine for kids music class or something, learning snare drum or something with no cymbal hits, but I would never risk using these live and once I finish the pack I definitely won’t buy them again. ... show more

  • On Stage 5B Maple Drum Sticks!
Size: On Stage Maple 5B Wood Drumsticks 12 Pairs
This stick is for drummer who like to hit their drums hard. They will eventually break though but we know that's the lay of the land for most drumsticks. There is a market for drummer who need big drum sticks. The size of this stick is slightly or perhaps equal to those of another brand that used to sell big drum sticks size 7B. The On Stage 5B to the eye appears to be slightly larger? If you need big sticks, I would get these. My only suggestion to the company is that could we get more sticks in each package? Right now, we're getting 12 pairs. I'd like to see a few more included. If you play in band that deal with softer dynamics, then these sticks are not for you. Rock band drummers will love these sticks. I like to hit the drums as hard as I can. You can imagine the sound! These sticks are perfect for me! ... show more
