Updated review. After several tries they resent the files for the USB drive. But it was for a different machine. Thankfully I was able to fix all the settings to match the original setup. Now it works again They did communicate quickly and worked hard to resolve the issue. Still wish they used a bigger box to ship but otherwise it's running & making the marks I need. Older review. The usb provided is comnplete junk which basically self destructs in a week. the laser works fine. now i have an expensive paperweight. it was crammed into a smaller box than needed, bending the fiber optic cables with gouges in the metal from parts getting hit together during transport

Omtech was easy to work with this is my second fiber laser purchase in the last year and I’m embarrassed to say I paid 20,000+ dollars for a similar machine. Sure it was finished a little nicer and had higher quality enclosure materials but it doesn’t justify the price. I was very hesitant on the purchase Partiality because I didn’t want to know I’d been had for 15,000 dollars from some us laser marking company that uses the exact same Chinese software with the same spelling errors calling the dongle a “dog” anyway I’m a month in and I can’t tell a difference in performance maybe it won’t last as long but still. I’m satisfied and a commercial/ professional user.

STOP! This is not a 50 watt tube. A 50 watt tube is 1000mm long (Google it). To achieve 50 watts you'll have to buy a bigger power supply and overdrive the tube which will greatly shorten its life. This is a 40 watt tube.
