Conveniently view your trend graphs and charts, and share as needed with your family, caregivers, or physicians. The Omron Connect app works with iOS and Android devices, as well as Amazon Alexa using the Omron Health skill.

The media could not be loaded. I'm in late 40's and my recent visit to my primary care doctor has revealed that I now have a high blood pressure. My dad and grandfather have history of high blood pressure so this isn't something that I can take lightly and ignore but I don't want to be on medication for the rest of my life just yet (for many reasons). So my doctor recommended that I monitor my blood pressure at home while I exercise and change my diet in order to avoid taking medication but he suggested that if my blood pressure doesn't come down then I really need to consider taking medication to avoid the risks associated with high blood pressure. After doing some research, I soon found out that OMRON is very trusted and reputable brand but I wasn't sure which model to buy as they had so many lines but I didn't want to go cheap on this as my life depends on this device. I initially went with Omron Evolv model because it looked simpler with one-piece design and it supposed to measure more data points for advanced accuracy. However, after using the Omron Evolv model for a month, I ended up returning it for various reasons and decided to buy this Platinum model and I immediately realized that this was the right choice! WHAT I LIKE: [+] It comes with everything you need, including the batteries, AC adapter, and the storage case! [+] TruRead feature that takes 3 measurements with 15, 30, or 60 seconds rest, configurable interval, in between then displays the average of 3. You can turn on or off the TruRead feature but this is the best feature in my opinion. [+] Easy to read, large and clean screen, which also displays the previous measurement with date and time so you can compare! [+] Can track 2 people's measurement history with up to 100 historical measurements for each person and you can easily scroll through to view them on the dual screen for side by side comparison. [+] Option to measure a guest or someone you don't want to remember in your historical memory (by pressing the Start button for 3 seconds) [+] Bluetooth technology and mobile app so you can easily transfer all measurements to your smart phone, if you want to. [+] Morning hypertension indicator by averaging all morning measurements with a push of a button [+] Most importantly, reliability and accuracy! WHAT I DON'T LIKE: [-] I wish the storage case was slightly taller so it's much easier to stack the strap on top of the reader to close it. The storage case definitely big enough to store them all but you just have to put them in neatly. This is not a deal breaker for me. THE BOTTOM LINE: 10 out of 5 stars! This is a no-brainer if you need to monitor your blood pressure. I could not be more impressed with this device and all the built-in features and everything that they provide in the box. I highly recommend this device for its accuracy than more than anything else so it's worth every penny for everything else that it provides. One delivery like this, so fast, is worth every penny of my Prime membership. I needed to get a blood pressure reading before 10 pm after ordering earlier in the day the machine was here. I am fairly sure it is accurate, as it is in line with what my physician's office reading was, I will update with another review after a few weeks and also after I ensure it is reading very close to what the physician's office reading was. This for the price is worth every penny and is clear and easy to use. Many features and a way to track your phone via Bluetooth to know what your blood pressure is trending.     • Waaaay better than my old BP cuff
So pleased with this OMRON Platinum. Easy to use. Quiet compared to my old one. My old one was a different brand. Thing would clamp down on my arm really hard ... made me wonder if it would hurt me bad some day. Readings were all over the place. I wasn't emotionally attached to it. We parted ways. In the future an archaeologist will find it and wonder if it hurt somebody. It did. ... show more

    • Tech meets blood pressure monitor
We have used a Microlife blood pressure monitor for years and it's simple and has worked well but does not have an app sync. In this month's Consumer Reports, the Omron Platinum product received very high marks and is recommended so we purchased it because it was time for an update/upgrade. It does seems to be very accurate. There are, however, too many bells and whistles until you get used to how it works. The product comes with a whopping 57 pages of instructions and information! Really! Downloading the app to sync with the monitor was a breeze, sort of. While syncing with the app is nice, it is NOT necessary to operate the monitor, but the instructions are not clear about that until you find the needle in the haystack on one of the 57 pages. The monitor does transfer your readings onto your app which is also nice and the app keeps track of readings. The case, unlike our Microlife, is too small to neatly store everything without stuffing it in. The arm cuff took a little getting used to as well. Overall, however, a great product. ... show more
