  • Changed review to positive
Update: Changed 2-star to 4-star. I still agree with point 1. Change of mind due to reading instructions again and realizing that I was lining up blue arrow, instead of side of white unit, to middle of arm. Now I have had an aborted reading due to failed connection only twice in over 100 readings. That said, I stopped doing triple reading sets on advice of cardiologist. If I want 3 readings, I take them individually. Readings can still vary widely but I can usually time them to my most recent activity or state of anxiety. I checked readings against multiple readings in doctors offices - they are either right on or pretty similar if I haven't changed conditions. 1. I agree with all the 1-star reviews complaining about need to enter PII into the app before it or the meter can be used. Startup instructions are wrong because you have to set up account before it will start. 2. First three days readings were all over the place. I developed a highly standard routine - same time relative to coffee, etc; easy chair with my arm totally relaxed in same position on a thick towel. Single readings were still highly variable between normal to extreme hypertension. Went to only doing triple readings, without moving my arm in between; readings sometimes very consistent, sometimes still too variable. Sometimes did two sets because readings of first set were so widely different. 3. Without ever moving my arm, at least 1/4 of the time it failed "to detect systolic pressure", at which point it quits. So, in a triple set it discards the one or two prior readings and you have to start from the beginning. This means that effectively about 1/3 of the time the system failed and I frequently had to do 3 triple sets to get one set of readings. I'm taking it to my doctor's office this week to find out which readings made sense and then I'm returning it. ... show more

  • Wonderful if you are frustrated with the air tube getting in your way
Really the only reason to get this is if you don't like the air tube that is just annoying when needing to take frequent readings or readings in non standard seated positions. I've been using this daily for over six months now though, and it has been by in large wonderful. I've not really had issues with it... I only have to charge it every couple weeks with my 5-10 readings per day. When I was checking more often I would need to charge it every few days, but that is still reasonable in my opinion. I will say it will last a lot longer if you disconnect after each use... but if you leave it connected, it drains the battery a lot faster. Its consistently reconnected without issue for me, so that's fine. It seems pretty accurate, but there are really so many variables involved that I don't know if you can truly call any of them accurate. Anyway it has always been well near the ballpark readings my doctor takes with their "professional equipment" so I'm not worried. Also know that I've set the cuff size to be just right for me to slip on and off, so I don't adjust it - ever. This has been super convenient as I just slip it on and take. a reading when needed... only takes a few seconds and I don't get tangled up in the air tube. I really quite like it. I've seen a few other reviews of problems with theirs, perhaps I just got a good one... as with any lithium battery device, they don't like being left at full charge or low charge - like your stomach, they like to be somewhere in the middle and not at either extreme. I keep mine in the 30-80% range and it works wonderfully all the time. ... show more

  • Inconsistent
Update: Great customer support provide information not in the manual. Firstly, the device uses Bluetooth Low Energy which does not synch in the normal manner. Secondly, if you leave the app on the "Start" window, it remain synched and the battery drains rather rapidly. Once you have your reading, switch back the window showing the device and the synch stops. Thirdly, readings on the device are only shown when the device is not synched and/or your iPhone is switched off. Nort going to return the device as it provides consistent accurate readings compared to other blood pressure monitors. Have been using it for five days and considering sending it back. Found it very difficult to synch via Bluetooth to my iPhone 14 Pro using IOS 16.5.1t took four hours to fully charge via a USB port on my iMac, then only made five measurements before it stopped mid-cycle because of low battery, I have to charge it up after every use. Pressing the Start and "M" buttons seems to have no effect most of the time. Only twice have I been able read the results on the device. Once it is synched to my iPhone the data is ported over via the iHealth app and incorporated into the data within the Apple Health app. The readings compare favorably with those from other devices. ... show more

  • Taking my blood pressure so easy.
Makes taking my blood pressure and having a record of it on my cell phone to show my doctor so, so easy. So far, I like everything about it, except I am a very short person, and the width of the cuff could be a little smaller.,

  • Efficient BP Monitot
This is a compact and easy to use monitor that has proven accurate in several tests upon receipt. I have not used it enough, long enough to comment on durability. But is a very good value.

  • 100% integrated with my Iphone
Easy to use. Wear it and press a button on the phone. That's all you need to do. Don't know how accurate is it but readings make sense (unlike some cheap monitors and smart watches which show normal BP when you feel abnormal or vice versa).
