Features

  • LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE NATURALLY: RESPeRATE is an FDA-cleared, non-drug medical device clinically proven to reduce blood pressure. It offers all-day sustained BP reduction in 3-4 weeks of use and its only reported side effect is better sleep.
  • CLINICALLY PROVEN, DOCTOR-RECOMMENDED HEART HEALTH SUPPORT: RESPeRATEs safety and efficacy in lowering blood pressure were demonstrated repeatedly in 19 separate clinical research studies published in peer-reviewed medical journals on hypertension.
  • PATENTED TECHNOLOGY: RESPeRATEs sensor picks up the breathing movements and turns them into tones that gradually prolong exhalation and slow breathing. Each prolonged exhalation relaxes constricted blood vessels, reducing blood pressure naturally.
  • JUST 15 MINUTES A DAY: Breathe with the guiding tones 15 minutes a day, 3-4 times a week. As the effect accumulates, constricted blood vessels relax, leading to lasting, all-day blood pressure reduction in a few weeks.
  • 100% COMMITTED TO LOWERING BLOOD PRESSURE: RESPeRATE product specialists are available by phone for technical or any other issue. RESPeRATE has a 1-year warranty, is available without a prescription, and is eligible for FSA and HSA reimbursement plans.

  • Seems to work

Bought this since I needed to spend the money in the FSA. It seems to have worked, a bit. On the other hand, one probably could achieve the same results without the device, so long as one learn the trick for deep breathing, IMHO.

  • Resperate's Additional Benefits: Also Great For Athletes And Fitness Conscious Folks
Style: Ultra
Hi all: Mine is a very important review for anybody who cares about radiant health and living a long life. In taking the time to write a long review, I am trying to help everybody out there because the data I've complied is compelling. As of a few months ago, I had never heard of Resperate. Now I have got to be its most vociferous supporter. Indeed, I have been very careful to attach three android screen shots of the recent activity in what is called my HRV Variability index, which I track carefully because it's a sign of radiant health. The higher the HRV reading, the better. I am 62 years of age and unfortunately developed high blood pressure two years ago: I collapsed at one point with a 190/100 incident. No herb was able to control the hypertension once it started and the medication only worked partially. My father had hypertension in his 30s and I guess it's genetic. I developed this disease even though I exercise with an intensity that is akin to a professional athlete, with two hours per day of cross-fit training that is very intense: often involving a 300 lb. bench press and ten 100 yard sprints after an hour on the Peloton. Nonetheless, the blood pressure medication has been worrying me (I like herbs and hate medication), so my wife (nearly 30 years younger than me and a very special caring influence on my life) purchased Resperate for me a couple months ago. Surely I had my doubts about this product. How could it possibly work? It isn't diet. It isn't exercise. It isn't anything. Boy was I wrong. The Resperate experience has changed my life and the attached screen shots prove it because they can neither be "faked" nor otherwise made up. If one simply listens to the voice instructions and the guiding tone for about 12 minutes five times a week then what is going to happen, in my view, is not only that his or her blood pressure problem will improve but his or her heart will become much stronger. And it will happen quickly. Just look at the screen shots. At 62 years of age, my HRV variability has gone from the 40s and 50s (which is normal for my age) to the 60s and 70s (which is like a youngster). And it has happened in just a couple months. This means that I have the ability to handle any stress that might attack my body just as a healthy teenager could handle it. Now here's the important point: I've always exercised just like I'm exercising now. But my HRV never reacted like this. It's the Resperate that's making the difference. I tested this concept by actually measuring HRV Variability DURING a Resperate session and the HRV has always gone off the charts. The reading of 72 shows this (see the second screenshot) but I've done it on a few other occasions and the same thing happens. Because I am obsessed with radiant health, I then did significant independent research and examined the clinical Resperate studies. There is only one possible conclusion: Resperate is essentially a very efficient form of meditation that is more efficacious than regular meditation -- even transcendental meditation. I am not just guessing about my conclusions. I have actually studied the breathing and intellectual/mind methods used in both, and Resperate's breathing and process is less hindering/more "freeing," and the activity associated with Resperate has proven more effective for me. If anybody reading this review cares deeply not just about their hypertension but also about radiant health, they would seriously consider incorporating Resperate into their life knowing full well that a stronger heart and better blood pressure control will result. By the way, I am nearly off the medication and will stop taking it altogether in October! Good luck and a sincere wish of radiant health to all. ... show more

  • Could be better quality

As many others have noticed, the belt doesn't stay at the correct tightness and there are frequent notifications to tighten and loosen the belt, which is very difficult when the belt is on. I don't know how anyone's blood pressure will go down when the user is being frustrated. Also, to keep the session to a reasonable time, it helps a lot to voluntarily start breathing slowly at the beginning of the session, rather than having to wait a long time for the machine to gradually slow the breathing rate. Finally, I can't tell if it really works or not, because my blood pressure sometimes is lower and sometimes not. Following up: After about a year, it is now telling me to tighten and then to loosen the sensor belt constantly without my even adjusting it at all. It no longer gets to the point where it begins to function. ... show more

  • It appears to work!
Style: Ultra
I’ve always been a nervous person when it came to getting my blood pressure taken. I’m a relatively young guy so it irritated me to have to worry about my bp even though I’m fit. Well, I’ve own this machine for just under 2 months and my blood pressure is averaging 118/77 - 127/82 usually. Now, I’ve almost never seen my bp at this range…ever. I am still taking one pill each day (doesn’t have any side effects so doesn’t bother me much) but before getting this machine, my bp would average 140/88 or higher. Now granted I felt more nervous during that time when taking my bp, but even when I felt calm, it still wouldn’t come down too much. I was skeptical at first, but I’m convinced at this point that this machine is really working. Anyway, it’s expensive, yes, but it’s easy to use and appears to be worth it. I use it daily and actually look forward to it. ... show more

  • Mainly didn't work.
Style: Ultra
I've had mine for quite a few years. When I first got it there was no change in the BP using it at all. I kept using it for months at that time. I put it away for several years and tried it again. Then I got excellent results. The BP was averaging 110/65 for about 5 or 6 months. All of a sudden it no longer worked. The BP was back to the original readings. There it has stayed for many months. The booklet said that after about 4 or 5 weeks the good reading would be consistent and pretty much permanent. Never happened. One of the big problems with the instrument was that thing was not consistent with it slowing the breath. So often what I'd get is a slow and steady breath and the thing would increase the speed. My natural breath is slow and deep because of the practice of Pranayama and martial arts training. This speeding up and inconsistency of the breath. I can have a slow comfortable and consistent breath of around 2.5 BPM. When my breath is at that this thing speeds up to 3.0 then slowly goes up to 3.3 or 4.0 then slowly drops back to 3.0. That doesn't help. Personally, I think they need to reprogram their chip. One thing that needs to be available is instead of consistently working on "slowing" the breath (when it actually happens) with each session it should work with the slowest breath that has been recorded. A lot of interesting things can be done with AI. ... show more
