The rug came folded tightly and vacuum packed. When we first opened it, it was smushed and wouldn’t lie flat. Thankfully, as the enclosed information it would, the rug flattened out and fluffed up as it sat. Now, after a few days, it’s nicely flat and has a very soft feel. I wouldn’t call it shaggy like the description does, but it’s very nice and my son loves it.

This took a while to ship, but once it finally arrived I'm fairly happy with it. The pattern is slightly diagonal. I don't know if it's an error in mine or if they're all like that? It doesn't bother me, but it's something to be aware of. The rug is very soft and plush even after only one day out of the wrapping. There's a few wrinkles but I'm fine with that for a budget rug. I suppose it did have a weird smell, but i only noticed it if i put my face against it...which you shouldnt be doing with a rug anyways. It's cute and functional for the price!

I originally had this at 5 stars but after using it for four months I dropped it down to 4 stars. It is very hard to clean. My vacuum (brand new stick vacuum) has a very hard time picking anything up off this rug. Also, it says machine washable and it does fit well in our washer, but nothing came off it there either. I had to remove all the dog hair with a lint roller. It is very soft and the color is perfect for a little kids room. It also folds really well if you need that in a rug.
