This was purchased for my bedroom, something nice and soft for my feet when I climb out of bed, and they hit this one out of the park. I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the package, not only was this area rug unbelievably soft but it was actually the size described in the product information. It fits exactly where I intended for it to go and the softness is simply a dream, the dogs are even in love with it because it's so soft. I'll admit to even being jealous that I couldn't roll around on it like they do. My biggest concern was that it would slip on my smooth floor, but the backing holds the area rug right in place without any trouble, which for someone who uses a cane for stability, is a comforting feeling. The pile was considerably higher than I expected but it only adds to the softness factor. If you want a soft area rug this is the rug you need.

It's a nice rug, but somehow it is very slippery. I've had it for months and I slip on it when bare foot from time to time which is funny, but overall it's nice. The under pad is thick enough so I don't feel the wood flor underneath. Considering the price it's decent.
