I bought the largest size available (16) and it fits me perfectly. I am a 5 foot 3 inch almost 30 year old woman who recently lost a lot of weight due to a medical condition. Granted, I was already skinny beforehand. The neckline was a little stiff the first time I put the wet suit on and I found myself getting choked while being in the water. But the more I wore the wet suit, I got accustomed to it and the fabric loosened comfortably. The legs reach just to the top of my ankles and the sleeves are long enough for me. Surprisingly, it's very buoyant. Which helps me feel weightless while in the water and allows me to comfortably float on my back or vertically. It also keeps me warm while I'm in the water or out. The description says it's for kids... but truthfully, the (16) size could fit any adult that are shorter than 5 foot 4 and very slim in stature.

very well made and properly tight fitting. We ordered a long sleeve size 8 for our skinny 9yr old boy from this company and from another one. We ultimately went with the other brand because it left more room for growth, but this one was very well made and very nicely fitting. I'd recommend sizing up for your child. this brand has nice neoprene seals at the neck, ankle and wrist openings to help seal. The other brand did not. this brand had higher quality, more "stretchy" material than the other brand. our decision ultimately came down to fitment and the convenience of already having the other one in hand, but this brand is slightly superior than the one we chose. We are just using it on a lake for water sports in IL, just because our kids get cold. We aren't using it for any serious purpose of warmth.

I bought this for my 10 year old son because he is so skinny he has no meat on his bones to keep him warm. He wears this to swimming pools and thinks he looks super cool. He says it’s very comfortable and works well to keep him warm. I bought two sizes to see which one he fit in better but apparently it’s supposed to be smaller than larger In order to retain the heat. He grabbed the larger one and there is some gapping, but he says it keeps him warm anyway. It’s good quality and definitely worth it if you have a skinny child.

Really great, we swam in the open ocean with sharks on a tour, and my son was warm enough to stay in for 30 minutes. He is really skinny 12 year old, that can still wear 10 and even 8 year old clothing, and it was great.
