  • Great camera, small size
Color: Silver Set: Body with 14-150mm Kit
Great Camera Weather sealed with all the features needed to take great photos and video

  • OM-5 Mark II
The OM-5 Mark I is a great camera. The OM-5 Mark II is a better one. The Sand Beige is a nice color choice. A few of the upgrades include USB-C charging port, the new menu is the same as the OM-1 and MO-3, beefer grip, and night vision. If you want a small lightweight camera look no further than the OM-5 Mark II. ... show more

  • An old (though still good) camera with very small improvements
Color: Black Set: Camera Body
I mean look: this is essentially the E-M5 III with a USB-C port and a new menu system. This is a camera from 2019 with two new features. And it's a good camera! But the grip is still too small, just as it was in 2019. I'd say this is a great beginners camera because it just takes good pictures without much fuss. But seriously, you should just get a used E-M5 II or III, and use the considerable monetary savings to buy some nice lens(es). ... show more

  • Best travel camera money can buy!
Color: Black Set: Body with 14-150mm Kit
This is perhaps the best travel camera you can buy. We purchased it for our trip to Egypt and it performed flawlessly! The size and weight make it perfect to carry all day and get great photos. Don't believe the Micro Four Thirds haters - you can get excellent photos using this system. The battery is a bit small, so you will definitely want to purchase a second battery to get you through a full day of shooting, but that is the only downside I see to this camera. Simply put, if you want professional grade photos but don't want to lug around a bulky professional camera system, this is the camera for you! ... show more

  • Great camera if it’s built for your needs
Color: Black Set: Camera Body
First time Olympus user coming from Fuji. The Om-5 mk II intrigued me for size, weight, weather sealing, and computational exposures. I’m a firm believer that the best camera is the one you’re most likely to take with you everywhere, so for me that means small and light. Haven’t got to test it out on an adventure backcountry snowboarding but I’m thinking it will work nicely with the 40-150 f2.8. ... show more

  • Amazing camera and system
Color: Silver Set: Body with 12-45mm Kit
I’ve got a bunch of nice camera gear, typically being a full frame snob. But this little camera is a real power house! They’ve done amazing things in software to compensate for the micro 4/3 sensor and I’m impressed. And that’s not accounting for the small rugged water resistant nature so I feel protected using it outdoors. ... show more

  • Best value for my needs, but battery life seems too short.
Color: Black Set: Body with 12-45mm Kit
My first DSLR is an Olympus e-620. I’ve had it as my only dedicated camera since 2009. Though the e-620 still works very well, it was time for a new camera that will also shoot movies. I considered full-frame and several cropped systems, but my search was a little biased towards micro 4-3rd cameras because with an adapter, these can use the original 4-3rds lenses that I have for my e-620. I didn’t find a camera nowhere in my price range that matches the OM-5 II’s features and capabilities that are important to me. So, I choose the OM-5 II also because professional reviewers gave it high marks, and it’s compatibility with not only my existing lens but also with the two flash units that I have for the e-620. Compared to the original OM-5 that I’m a little familiar with, the Mark II has the USB-C port instead of the micro-USB port, a more organized menu system and a CP button for instant access to “computational” shooting modes including live ND, focus stacking, bracketing, etc. Unlike the original OM-5, it doesn’t come with a USB charger, just the cable. It also does not have provisions for a custom grip that the original OM-5 had. Otherwise, the OM-5 II seems to be equal in capabilities to the original OM-5. Autofocusing is quick with all my lenses even in low light settings. However, some computational features such as focus stacking are not available while using the older lenses. It works well with my Olympus FL-36R and Metz 48 AF-1 flash units for basic flash functions. So, I am completely satisfied with the picture quality, ease of use and compatibility aspects of my purchase. Now, the not so good part. I’m not sure whether it was a faulty battery or a faulty camera, but the battery when fully charged lasted only about 120-150 shots rather than the claimed 310 shots. Yes, this was even when I didn’t use the display and EVF extensively. The only help I received from Amazon was to return the camera. I'll wait to see whether others have had this problem. If not a common problem, then I will re-order the same kit before a likely price increase. ... show more

  • perfect all around camera!
Color: Silver Set: Body with 14-150mm Kit
The camera is compact and looks and feels really rugged. The stabilization is excellent with the IBIS. There's a bunch of settings and modes but it's still noob friendly. I also love the computational photography modes. The kit lens 14-150 mm is a jack of all trades. I'm excited to fully learn everything about this camera. ... show more
