I've had this curling bar for a month now and continue to be impressed. I selected it partly for the black finish that looks great with my other equipment. Formation of the curves is excellent and very comfortable, whether doing standing curls or supine curls. Olympic plates slide on smoothly over the grooved ends. The grooves help hold the bar onto my rack reducing the chance of it slipping off. I usually don't need to use collars to keep the plates in place which saves time. I bought the ez curl one because I really was impressed with the straight bar of the same brand. Great value for the money. CONS: it came with an oily residue. Cleaned up with a rag but was just annoying. Also, the clips they come with are almost impossible to get on and off. I threw them in the garbage where they belong and bought the clamps which are way better ... show more
