I'm just a home crafter and this is my first time using a hat press. The Olixis press was essentially ready to go right out of the box. It heated to the selected temperature quickly. The pressure is adjustable and arranging the hat on the pad was easy to do. After pressing the recommended time, the vinyl was perfectly adhered to the hat. It is a solid piece of equipment.
