The sheets are soft but I washed them ONCE - properly I might add, and they tore right up 😭 I do love the sheets but even washing them how it’s suggested and there’s 2 of these holes in my fitted sheet and one in my top sheet. I am really disappointed in it.

***EDITED REVIEW*** I've received an email from the company, basically inferring that it's my fault the sheets aren't cooling - that I don't understand how my bedding works to keep me cool: "At Olive + Crate we guarantee satisfaction, so I would like to dig a little deeper if I may. Have you considered the filling that might be in your comforter. I had another customer that said our duvet cover was hot and it turned out they were using a 60/40 goose down comforter with polypill. That is going to be a very hot comforter and polypill does not breath and regulate temperature at all." I'm allergic to down, and my comforter is very thin. I don't use an additional blanket - only the top sheet and light comforter. So to insinuate that I would "not consider" that my additional bedding is the problem is laughable. Sorry, but your sheets are NOT COOLING AS ADVERTISED! I still like the sheets overall, but the company's response to my issue has left a VERY bad taste in my mouth to ever order their products again. ********* I don't do many reviews, and I'm always wary when a company begins hounding me for a review before I've had time to open the package. I decided to review these sheets after about one month for a few reasons - they are by far the most expensive sheets I've ever purchased, the company keeps hounding me and I wanted to share my experience. So far, I am happy with my purchase. The sheets are very soft. I am IN LOVE with the pillowcases - I've never owned cases with the 'envelope pouch' that covers the edge of the pillow. Genie is out of the bottle now, and not going back! I also really like that the fitted sheet actually extends past my mattress on both sides - finding sheets that do that nowadays is a bit like hitting the lottery! But the reality is, I did purchase this set based upon the headline of 'cooling sheets'. These are not any more cooling than any other percale sheets I've owned. I'm still waking up sweaty. And I was hoping that would be eliminated. They are soft, comfortable, the color is a good fit with my comforter set. Love the pillowcases and fitted sheets. Overall it's a win, but I am disappointed about the 'cooling' factor. Four stars.

Hate. Do not buy these sheets if you dislike waking up in the middle of the night to try to reattach them to your mattress. They do not stay on. The elastic is not nearly as strong as they claim. Do not buy these sheets if you dislike having the seams in the pillowcases find their way to your cheeks nightly. Do not buy these pillow cases if you want your really expensive king size pillows to turn to mush over the course of 3 weeks of using them. Do not buy these sheets if you have night sweats. You'll wake up wet and cold. So dumb. Do not buy these sheets if you dislike your comforter literally sliding off the bed at any given moment. Do not buy these sheets. The end.

These are my first tencel sheets. They are so breathable, smooth and soft without being slippery. They are pretty wrinkly, but I am personally okay with that. I do feel cooler sleeping in them, and they are very thin and practically transparent. With all of the above I'd still give 5 stars just because I am really enjoying the sheets. HOWEVER, I have only had these for a month and a half (2 or 3 washes, followed instructions) and they have already developed runs through the fabric in several places. For this price? Come on that sucks

Update 3// I finally received the sheets and you can see the photos as to the condition. The seller reached out to me again and there was an issue in my end with the delivery. I’m happy to say they aren’t scammers but are definitely going through a slight defect with their product. The sheets are incredibly soft but will not last 6 months. It’s your gamble. I can’t make a risk like this again but if you’re okay with iffy sheets then it’s not that big of a deal. I want to get what I pay for personally. UPDATE 2 // It’s now been a week and I haven’t received my new sheets. Im starting to think I gave my address to a scammer. Y’all be careful. ** Update1 // A kind soul reached out to me in concerns with my purchase. From the looks of it Amazon sent me the wrong sheets as the color is different and the ruffles on the fitted sheets are different as well. I’m so happy my concerns were heard and the company cares about their customers. We will definitely be purchasing all of our sheets through them. The sheets we received weren’t terrible, the quality was just poor for the price we paid so I am beyond excited to receive the correct sheets. I will update my review again once we receive them. Customer service alone is 5 stars. Erm, at first they are amazing. They are massive which I like, I’d rather my sheets be too big than not big enough. However I’ve noticed slight peeling as few people have stated. Nothing crazy but the color has DEFINITELY faded in some spots in just 2 days. No I didn’t wash them before I put them on my bed, they don’t smell - so they seem clean to me. I know the fading isn’t from the wash the material doesn’t seem to be the best quality for $129PLUStax. Idk I have to buy corner straps for the mattress, unless you like your sheets to come off the bed 24/7 that is a MUST. I will say when I first opened the bag I was put off by what was on the bag. It states that you can not return opened products but the only way for me to know if I liked them WAS TO OPEN IT. Like I said before I paid 129$ which is A LOT of money for sheets to me. If the peeling continues I will definitely cry. Hopefully it doesn’t these sheets are go soft and comfortable to sleep on. I still get hot on occasions but it’s 1000 times better than my last pair. I wouldn’t say $100 worthy but close.
