The light is smaller than expected but has the expected Olight quality... except for difficulty turning it on and changing settings.... all of which require pushing the whole unit against the metal backing that is attached to something solid. For anyone with weakness in wrists or with arthritis, or any other condition that affects hands or wrists, this light is not a good idea. I nearly pushed a divider wall over turning it on and off. This light is awesome! Olight made another great light, that can be used in many different situations. I use mine primarily for misc computer work. The magnet makes it super easy to attach to a computer case or server rack. Its waterproof and can float? Umm YES?

so the reviews for this item are all over the place which was confusing when i wanted to order the light. 1. this thing is small, alot smaller than i thought and that was represented in most of the pictures. think a little bigger than a golf ball. 2. theres one large buttin on the bottom and it isnt hard to turn on i dont know where the reviews got that from. press the button once to turn on, once for low light , once for bright, once for red. thats it its not quantum psychics its one button. 3. the magnet on the bottom which is also the button for operation is just like all the rest of the olight magnetic it really good. its not going to hold a person or your gear but its solid for a object the size of a golf ball. 4. weighs nothing in the hand 5. there is only one color mode which is red, if your looking for the RGB experience those features are on the upgraded 77 model. 6. water proof like every other olight product. dropped it on the floor, dog got it had to wash it etc.. its good 7. all in all another good one from olight. these guys cant miss in my book. ... show more

Olight is trash there also very toxic company there products are horribly desinged and there was a recall for the M2R Pro Warrior and Warrior mini olight flashlight are not even lifetime warranty but surefire and powertac is and powertac is USA owned and made in China I strongly suggest you don't purchase this trash there is so many better flashlight companies out there and the weapon lights with the magnet lock you cant safely inter a door or breech a door without the pressure switch magnet lock coming undone because it gets caught on the door frame smh the magnetic tail caps sometimes activate without warning and it can burn a hole in your bag or clothing there is a reason for the recall none of there products are thoroughly thought out and olight should be ashamed of them selves for putting that trash out to consumers. I would give this product less than 1 star if I could. ... show more

These are decent little lights. They project a light bright enough to be useful in a broad range of applications and in 360 degrees. The light is a soft tint, so it's not really hard on the eyes like many LED bulbs. The memory feature is nice in that you don't have to cycle through all the modes to reach the last one used. They're also very light, which is never a bad thing in a backpack. Really my only complaint is that the power cord is fragile and permanently fixed to the magnetic charger, which is the only way to charge the light. If something happens to the cord the light is promptly and completely broken. If there was a plug into the magnetic charging pad or there was a USB port on the light itself, so the light could be charged if the included charger became damaged, it'd be 5 stars. ... show more

They are olight so the build quality is fantastic like everything they make,we got 8 of these to keep throughout the house for emergency use and i believe they will work well for lighting walkways and such during a power outage. they are not very bright i would say each one puts out maybe a bit more light then a couple well placed candles,i also think they could have improved the base plates they come with so that you can press on the light to change lighting modes instead of having to lift them off the plates to press the button on the underside. we bought these during the blackfriday sale so got them very cheep but even at full price they are worth the money, they come with wireless charging and a quality rechargeable cell in them. ... show more

Fantastic light. I love that it is magnetic so it sticks anywhere. There is a metal disk with adhesive on one side if you have a fixed location to keep it. There are several settings for both white and red light. Another win from Olight.

    • Cool - BUT not at all durable

It's a cool little light, and I own several light flashlights and love their stuff. However, this little light is so not durable - AT ALL. My 2 year old had it in his hand and dropped in on a hardwood floor, so literally from a heigh go 16 INCHES!!! The light portion inside the actual orb came loose and now rattles and is free floating inside the round housing. Somehow it still lights up and the button works, however the light mechanism is now sideways within the orb so one side is light the other shadow. There is no way of opening the housing orb without breaking it. It is beyond frustrating to even turn on. Since I threw out the box already it's probably too late to return. I'm probably just going to throw it out at some point. Too bad. Expected better quality from this company. ... show more
