    • Great light, very, very bright on highest setting.
This light is bigger than the little guy I had previously, the Baton 3 1200 lumens. The Baton 1200 lumens is smaller, fits neatly in any pocket and I found it very useful. This larger Baton 3, I use as a regular flash light without the bulk of a household flashlight. It has 3 brightness settings, a circular charge cap/usb charge cable and on the lowest setting the battery lasts a long time. I use mine typically several times a day and I haven't recharged it in over a month. I'm sure at the brightest setting it would require charging more often. It has a magnet on the end so if you need to be hands free, also a pocket type clip. That said, it is a longer, heavier one than the smaller 1200 lumens, but is fantastic when you need a much brighter light. On the highest setting it is very, very bright. This Baton 3, 1500 lumens is heavier, bigger, brighter and it is very well made. Definitely worth the money I'm glad I purchased it. ... show more

Love this particular line of the Olight products. Smaller and lighter than the "Max" version but bigger than the Baton 3, to me the Baton 3 Pro strikes the perfect balance between power and portability. 1500 lumens with a rechargeable battery that lasts a week or more depending on usage. It's a custom battery, so you can't use AAs in it, but Olight does sell replacements. Great build and finish that easily fits in your jeans or shorts pockets with a magnetic tail that allows it to adhere to any metallic surface (comes in quite handy often!). Comes with magnetic charging cable (you'll need a 2-amp USB-A block to charge it properly) , pouch, and "L-stand", which is a type of bracket with 3M tape on the back so that you can mount it wherever you like in your house so that your light is always within reach. I have 3 of these, 2 with the Neutral White emitter and 1 in Cool White. I prefer Neutral White over the Cool White variant simply because I feel that the Cool White tends to wash out colors on its high setting while the Neutral White is still bright without being harsh or completely ruining your night vision. While it does have some weight, it will clip to a baseball cap, but I find it to be slightly heavy to use as a headlamp. The i3 series is better suited for this. Or, just get a proper headlamp... It has 6 modes: "Moonlight", which is great for walking around the house or to the latrine without disturbing anyone. Then, Low, Medium, High, and "Turbo", which really lights up your immediate area well, albeit for a short time before it drops down to High. There's also a strobe mode which can be used for signaling, but it's a rather quick strobe, so not very friendly for those with epilepsy. The light pattern is more "flood" which is to say that it's to be used as a more "what's in front of you" light with a lot of "spill" to the sides and not a "thrower", which will project far into the distance. I’ve had this flashlight almost a year now, and I’m still impressed with the quality and brightness. The switch mechanism is intuitive in that you need to long press to change the brightness level, allowing you to switch it off and on without changing the brightness. I carried the original baton for years before deciding to upgrade. This improves on every aspect of the original baton. Grip is comfortable while being very much dug in, you won’t lose your grip on it even with oily hands. Clips right to the brim of a hat, easy press button and three different battery status levels. Snap on charger with charge indicator light on the cable. Battery life is unreal on the mid level, can use this for a week straight on one charge in my line of work. Bright as hell when I need to illuminate something from afar. Clip doesn’t move so it won’t displace where the button is like the OG baton did.
