I originally had received the s1r baton II as a gift from a former employee who knew I always wore a ball cap and boy what a gift. So I had to purchase this right away I love that the light is so lightweight that it will not pull your hat down. I love that the button to adjust the light is on top of your hat. I love how strongly the clip grips your hat bill. Of course if you aren't using this solely for the clip for a headlight, I am sure there are brighter, better models from olight or competitors. But I will say this is 110% my most used tool. Not to mention very easily rechargable in a compact case. I have used this so many days without ever running out of charge (the indicator lights are fantastic) I seriously can't think of any complaints. If people are complaining about battery life or anything, remember this thing is as big as my thumb and shines a very very bright beam at the touch of a button for at least a half hour and it can stay on muuchhh longer than a half hour if not at max setting (which is plenty bright.) I love the strobe feature too.. man I just love this flashlight ... show more

This is a definite game changer for someone that is on the go. The flashlight is tremendous, with excellent light output. It's small size makes it ideal to keep with you all the time. The clip allows you to put on a hat, pocket, or molle, so the options are vast. But this carrying case, recharging the light, extends your ability to use it when you aren't near a vehicle or outlet. So for travel, or backpacking, or just daily use, this is absolutely something you will appreciate. Worth the money ... show more

i would give this 5 stars, only gets 4 bc not sure if its waterproof (edited part i read all the description and it is) and you cant ajust the beam. dont really need 5 or 6 settings, just high and low beam and off. also it didnt come with the charging cable. i originally bought the headlamp (as a combined package) that was waterproof but it got sent back due to amazon with there many reasons why it got sent back. *got damaged during delivery *couldn't find its destination ect... (NO i didnt request a return either and im still waiting for my refund its been a week or2) i did purchase a different headlamp from a different company for a little bit cheaper. i did receive this lil guy a couple days later. its bright for its size and not sure about 1200 lumas but it does the job. small, almost gets lost in my pocket. but overall a really good flashlight. i dont use it alot so not to sure about what the description says about running time. the magnetic end is pretty neat. would i buy this again? probly not. but i can live with it. ... show more

This little thing packs a punch for it's size, and the charging case that it comes with allows you to charge it in it's protective case I believe up to 3 times before needing to charge the case itself. The case is USB-C for charging, and the flashlight has a magnetic base that snaps into the case for quick and easy charging. It can also be charged with the magnetic USB charging cable as well. I keep mine in my car in my center console. Perfect for lighting up the back seat when my internal car lights aren't enough. ... show more

This is two years of carrying in my pocket 16 hours a day. The button is cosmetically worn but still functions the exact same as brand new. Battery life is close enough to original that I don’t notice. Light beam is the same intensity as new. I work in maintenance and this is by far my favorite flashlight I’ve ever carried. The lowest setting is perfect for navigating the house after all the lights are out without blinding yourself, the brightest setting can easily see 50 yards or further out. Clips and magnetic base make hands free use easily accomplished in all sorts of conditions. Can’t recommend this light enough ... show more
