Absolutely happy about this 20 x 20 in food grade 100% pure cotton cheesecloth for straining in the kitchen. These four pack of cheesecloth were very quality made all the edges are nicely sewn and it looks like a very large very thin napkin when you first unravel them. They do have a slightly tan color because they are not bleached so they're not perfectly white like most bleached cloths. The instructions didn't really have a whole lot so it doesn't really tell you how to take care of them or clean them however it does say that there might be a few pieces of black speckles in them because of the fact that they're unbleached and if you don't like it then you can boil it to try to get those out of there but I didn't have really any issue with mine. They came in a vacuum sealed plastic mayerial to keep them clean and fresh. I used mine specifically to make herb infused butter and it worked wonderfully. These are susceptible to staining though and especially if you're using any plant-based material it's going to change the color of the product after you use it even for the first time. That being said it doesn't really matter what color my cheesecloth is when I'm done with it as I'm probably going to use it for the same thing later on. I plan on just running through the washing machine with some of my other clothes to get it clean and ready for another use. Beautifully made and hemmed cloths. I use cheesecloth in making butter and marmalades. To clean, I first rinse them thoroughly, making sure to remove all food clumps. Then I soak them in boiling water until the water cools. After another rinse, I sprinkle with baking soda, cover with boiling water and add vinegar. Finally, when cool, I rinse in boiling water and hang to dry. Much more economical than using food-grade cheesecloth and tossing it out after one use. No fraying so fat! ... show more

I am in love with home made yogurt, cheese, almond milk, and everything that you can do at home! I have been using another cheesecloth that I received as a gift but I wasn't quite happy since the sheerness of the cloth was not precise. But this one is just perfect! I tried making almond milk with the cloth and I am really happy with the result!! In addition to the milk, I have a jar full of almond flour that I extracted during the filtering process. This cheese cloth is of great value. It’s very sturdy and reusable. I’m wringing the heck out of it squeezing water out of my Cauliflower to make Cauliflower pizza. I would definitely recommend this product!

The product makes several claims, all of which I felt checked out! This comes in a vacuum sealed package. I love that for sanitation! Size is 20 x 20, and hemmed, as stated. Out of the package, it measured 19 x 18.5. I realized I needed to let it flatten first. I added 2 pictures of my oven to show both one layer and two. This is the transparency when held up to light. The last thing I wanted to mention is that the cloth is lint free, but it does have some black dots. I made my cauliflower pizza "dough" using this cloth to strain out the water from the cauliflower. This recipe was tricky because if any moisture is left behind it will compromise the integrity of the crust. I have made my cauliflower pizza without this cloth, and it was not as firm as when I used this cloth to strain out all the liquid. It comes in a vacuum sealed bag, and it is sufficiently large enough to execute any recipe. Two cloths come in one order which is fabulous in case you lose one of them. The last picture I uploaded to demonstrate the sheerness of this product. I held up against a window with horizontally oriented blinds which you can see behind the cloth.
