I looked at the British version of this unit and it was twice the money and twice the weight. Then I saw this one and thought I would give it a try. It is beautiful, at least as good as the British model, and my dog loves it! The unit is total quality- the fabric, the construction and the design are all top of the line. This seat is amazing. I only wish I had ordered it prior to the 55 hour car trip my family and our dog went on. It would have made her much happier. Instead she was in a crappy foam seat with fake (hot) lamb's wool that I ended up taking off the seat for the rest of the trip because she could not cool down. This seat and material seems to wick away the heat in addition to just being amazing all around. It sits high, which is perfect for my little Pomeranian mix to look out the window, but the cushion is such that it's not too soft or hard to conform to whatever she needs. She is also closer to the AC vents being so high :) The seat is so comfy - my kids are jealous. She is much safer than other car seats as there are multiple options for securing the seat. There was an 'across the back' of the seat' strap, a headrest strap that I attached to the buckles where the handles are and there are two little hooks in the bottom-front of the seat which I used carabiners to attach to the undercarriage of the seat. I really feel she is much safer than before. The material is a sturdy and easy to clean but again, it's not hot. My little girl has a big undercoat to prepare for our Minnesota winters here and she gets overheated easily. This material is the only one that she seems to feel comfortable in without a cooling mat. I am so happy I found this seat. A friend had a similar version but it was close to $200 so I am so glad I found this. Our dog actually tries to jump into the car now! She no longer hates going for rides. Thank you!! I am curious about the company. I tried to look them up but could not find any info on them about where they're located etc. They say the name is Hawaiian but I cannot confirm that it is an American brand. Either way, the quality of this seat is excellent. I would highly recommend.

Easy assembly. Be sure to secure strapping to back of seat to ensure tight and safe hold from stopping too quickly. Purchased two for each pug puppy, although they prefer to sit together in one. This seat appears very comfortable for each and they calm down and snuggle in quite quickly and usually fall asleep within minutes. I purchased another one as a gift for my sister’s King Charles Cavalier, as he gets car sick. Highly recommend this product. Well made, easy to clean. Great size for growing pugs!

Have tried several different car seats for my 25 lb dog and this one is the best. Easy to assemble and install and dog feels secure sleeping in during the ride. I installed in middle of back seat and my pup is easy to keep an eye on and she seems to enjoy then being able to see out side and front windows. Would recommend to designer of product to elevate with more pillow on bottom. With as many suvs that are out there, another 2 or 3 inches of added height would make this perfect for a smaller dog to look out the windows. Simply adding a pillow underneath doesn’t work because fabric is such that seat then slides. That minor adjustment would make this a 10 out of 10.

This was exactly what I was looking for it. The high quality materials with good safety features will keep my dog safe and comfortable on road trips. My dog is now loves to rides in the car especially on this car seat & also likes to sleep in the car seat even if I’m driving a short distance. I’m very happy with this product, my dog rides very comfortable and secure and I feel so good about it too. This is a wonderful product. My overall experience with customer service was perfect.

My 6 lb dog keeps climbing out the sides. If she can do it that easily, I doubt it would keep her in if I had an accident. It looks like it is comfy and if you have a dog that behaves, you might like it.
