This watch is highly accurate, gorgeous, lightweight, thin, waterproof, and tough. I love the color of the blue sunray dial. I don't like babying my watches, so I bought this on the ad's assurance that I could get it wet. I wear it all day but there's not a scratch on it anywhere. I am surprised that the black band shows no wear given what I put it through (gardening, playing rough with the dog, cooking, showering, generally being clumsy and banging into things). I was afraid that the band might be painted black, or have a fragile electroplating. But at this point it looks like the entire watch is good for life. I just have two suggestions for changes: The date is very tiny and difficult to see, and I wish the hands and markers glowed in the dark. Changing these features would compromise the minimalist design, though. It took me a few days to get used to the crown insignia on the face, but now I don't notice it any more. Still, I think it would be more in keeping with minimalism to make the watch face as shown in the ad photo (no crown), and use the space to make the date bigger and add luminous hands and markers. ... show more

This is a nice looking watch. It was easily adjustable using the enclosed tool. I have a very small wrist and the smallest adjustment notch was perfect for me. I have not had it around water so I can't speak to the water resistance. I subtracted one star from the easy to read rating because the date is so small you almost need a magnifying glass to read it. ... show more

Besides the fact that I was looking for a pewter color (according to the picture) and it arrived in black, the watch looks good. I was ok with the color change and happy with my watch, but it stopped working after 3 months... I guess you get what you pay for...

    • Sleek and Feminine Despite the Larger Size

If you want a larger watch, this is the perfect size. I have a 6” wrist and it is not overwhelming. The watch case is very thin and the watch is extremely comfortable to wear. It comes with a small tool for adjusting the band which is easy to use. I prefer a mesh band to a leather strap for two reasons: you never have to replace it due to wear, and the excess length ends up wrapped around underneath the band rather than sticking out to the side where it can get caught on things.
