If it is an acquaintance, I tell them it was a gift and they can continue to believe that someone gave me a thousand dollar watch. They are heavy, well constructed, water resistant or possibly proof. Bought the watch for my son for his birthday back in October 2023. Looks great and he got compliments on the watch, but a week or so ago he came home and the pin that holds the watchband to the housing came out and can't be found. Wouldn't be so bad if an extra was included in the package. I'll be looking to replace the pin, but I will not be buying another watch from this brand/seller due to the poor durability.
