This is a full twin-sized bed with large, elaborate headboard that contains a small power strip and two tiers of shelving. The actual headboard component is soft and padded with a rich dark brown that matches the wood grain on the sides. The edges are done in a wrought iron, with the pieces being assembled when you buy it using a system of bolts. This bed requires a little extra care to assemble properly. It is easy to put together the frame and headboard, but the flattened metal pipes that go across the bed are just long enough to support the bed and the people on it if they are placed in precisely the right spot. Do that and you will have a very heavy duty mattress put together with the support you would expect. The star of the show of course is the headboard. It is made of rich, dark colors and goes great with other similar tones. The storage space allows you to place your phone, a bottle of water, etc nearby and still have them out of the way so you don't bump into them with your head or accidentally knock them over if your arms move in your sleep. Everything is well proportioned and spaced out so that you almost never touch the top shelf if you are completely asleep. Overall it is a beautiful piece that is sturdy if put together carefully. It will look great in a traditionally decorated bedroom, but of course can be made to look good in a kid's room if everything else is brightly colored, including the sheets and bedding.

This is a beautiful bed! The extra storage space is great too my kid just uses it for junk though but at least it’s not all over her floor lol. It was easy enough to assemble I didn’t have any trouble and it came with directions anyways anyone could follow them. It’s nice and sturdy and haven’t had to worry about it breaking and falling apart in the middle of the night lol definitely very nice looking doesn’t look cheap at all or anything like that . Highly recommend!

When my 5-year-old mentioned she wanted an “up-high bed” like mine, I knew it was time for an upgrade. After searching, I found this Twin Metal Platform Bed and couldn’t be happier with the choice! It checks all the boxes: not too high off the ground, functional with great storage, and super stylish for her room. The 2-tier storage headboard is a game-changer. She loves her squeezable nightlights, and the bottom tier is perfect for lining them up on. The built-in outlet with USB and Type-C charging ports is such a great touch! Now when one of her lights needs charging, I can just plug it in right there. No more hunting for outlets or awkward cord placements—it’s so convenient! Assembly was a breeze. The instructions were clear, and all the parts were labeled, making it straightforward to put together. I rearranged her and her sister’s room to change things up, I figured both could use a change and upgrades. It’s been such a great addition. The design fits perfectly with their room setup, and the under-bed space is great for extra storage. She had a floor bed before so I didn’t have that extra space until now and he’s been awesome. This came in a box and needed to be assembled. It took two people to get it fully assembled and took about 30 to 45 minutes. The instructions were clear, but there were some areas that the pictures did not look right and we used the wrong screws. Double check your work and make sure everything works and you’re using the right thing or the wrong screw will poke out of the top. Some parts were really difficult to put together, but eventually it all worked out. I really like the shelf and the ability to charge and alarm clock or your phone or anything else on top. I love the Matte black look which matches the bedroom. we have a twin XL bed and it also fits on this really well but will be getting a regular twin gel mattress to go over it. I like the edges have guard so your foot isn’t hitting a sharp corner. The gray padding on the headboard is soft and will keep your toddler from hitting it too hard.

This is a nice bed for a young child. My kiddos bed was starting to fall apart so we upgraded to this one, where it came with a storage/shelf headboard to put their glasses, lamp and nightlight. We were able to get the bed together in under an hour. While the directions were easy to read, some of the directions weren't clear and we had trouble putting the bed together, questioning our work. Now that we got it together and his new mattress on the bed, we've noticed it's a little wobbly on our floor. We hope it will last a few years into adulthood when they gets a larger, more adult bed.

My kid’s bed didn’t have a headboard, so instead of buying one, I got this bed. It was a bit of a pain to put together. The Allen wrenches and bolts suck. I ended up using an attachment for my electric screwdriver. That made the process faster. As far as instructions, they are sufficient and there’s nothing complicated. The headboard material feels nice. It’s like a smooth microfiber. Feels smooth rubbing downward and a little rough when swiping your hand upward. There’s sufficient shelf space and a bonus electrical outlet. The headboard and shelf add length, which isn’t something I did not consider in the first place. It looks nice and the quality seems appropriate for the price. This is something that I’d see at Walmart or the like. It’s sturdy and doesn’t squeak. So far so good!
