Let me start off by saying it took almost 3 months to convince myself to buy this. The reviews worried me and I'm extremely hesitant to buy things like furniture online without being able to see them first. All that being said, this has been a fantastic experience, even with a few bumps in the road. Let's start with the bad: - the box was very heavy, as would be expected of steel materials, so if you have issues moving weighty packages, please get help and don't hurt yourself. - allen wrenches suck so much but that's not the fault of the product - one of the joints on one of the legs was bent/denting/crumbling. I thought it would still work but with the leg in, the screw holes didn't line up. on to the good: - I contacted the manufacturer immediately upon finding the previously mentioned issue with the leg. I did have to do some run around because I ordered it from Amazon and not the manufacturer but, in less than an hour and a half, I'd spoken to both Amazon (via chat, shoutout to Kyle who was AMAZING) and the manufacturer (twice - once on the phone and once via email, both with Greg who was ALSO AMAZING) to get a replacement leg sent out. I explained the situation, sent some pictures, and I had a FedEx tracking number for the replacement leg and it arrived yesterday. - The bed is fairly easy to assemble on your own but I definitely recommend having at least something to hold up the sides of the beds while you attach the legs, ideally another person to switch off allen wrench duties with. However, I did it all by myself and it wasn't super hard or time-consuming. - the inset of the bars, making the mattress sit within the sides of the bed, is honestly genius. I had a platform bed in college and the mattress slid off ALL THE TIME. I love that that won't happen with this bed. - overall seems sturdy and squeak-free. Also, since this bed is in a room with hard wood floors, the slip-resistant feet on the legs are also a fantastic addition but I think I'd prefer something with even more grip just as a personal preference. On Noises (the one big concern I had from the reviews): - Last night was the first night it has actually be used and it was comfortable with no major issues. There's been no noise from it and, since I'm a very mobile sleeper, that's pretty miraculous. - I will say that my mattress isn't very compatible with it. It's a tad bit too short for the bed and it's older so the springs in the mattress sort of grind against the platform bars, making a weird noise. But since that mattress won't be used with this bed, it shouldn't be a problem. Just keep that in mind if you're actually hearing "noises" when you use it. Honestly, you could just get some cheap, thin plywood to put between the bars and the mattress and that issue would be fixed in no time. - Make sure the bolts are SUPER TIGHT because the loose-ness of those will create noise. Nothing a quick re-tightening wont fix though! I may update this once it has been used with the mattress it was actually bought for but I really wanted to address some of the issues I saw in the reviews, the things that made me hesitant to buy this and how I'm glad that I finally did. UPDATE: One Month Later It has started squeaking a bit but not too badly. I retightened some of the bolts last night and the noise lessened so I'm planning to retighten all of them today to see how that works out. I think it just means that if you're mobile when you sleep (I move around a lot, always have) or you're very "active" wink-wink, you may need to do a sort of monthly maintenance to prevent squeaking. Frame comes up to my knees before I put the mattress on. It's tall enough that I won't need box springs, which is what I wanted. I put it together by myself in about 30 minutes with only an Allen wrench, which was included. I'm happy with this purchase.

Love the frame, price, easy installation - everything about it.. ***UPDATE: We are not even 2 years in and every time we tighten it, it stays for a day or 2 and then starts swaying with the bars now not fitting in the frame. April last year we purchased the King size 14" frame and after the easy setup and sturdy steel interlocking bars, we thought we struck gold! So ordered one for our 15-year old in a full size just a couple months ago. Sadly ours now sways so badly even after tightening with the allen wrench periodically, lately it seems to loosen much quicker. Maybe there's a worn part or an easy fix but I'm hoping the company can provide resolution. We were going to get 2 more for our youngest two kids but now...very Skeptical. No response from seller at all. Lost another star/ ... show more

Just unboxing it, not pleased. Noticed some of the plastic zip ties failed to hold during transport so many scraps on the product. Yet why I am not pleased is for the two headboard legs are rusted inside! I notice my hands getting dust on them and wiped the bars off with a cloth only to find it to be powdered rust. Leg cap was damaged and fell off so I looked inside. Photo shown. This is not a new product yet one that got damaged. Now the debate of putting it together to have a bed to sleep in tonight, send it back for a new one/refund. Or see if the can replace the two rusted legs. Paid: $131.45 with the shipping. Missing 4 parts, the F-labeled braces. Also has some dings that I had to file down to get parts to fit. Fantastic bed frame at an awesome price! This frame is extremely sturdy and I absolutely love how tall it is. At 6'2" I like having a bed that doesn't feel like it's on the ground, plus there is ample storage room underneath for tons of stuff. I put thin plywood on the metal slats to create a flat surface so the warranty on our Leesa mattress wouldn't be voided and it works great. The foam mattress, my wife and I add up to about 470lbs and the frame has no issues with all that weight even during adult activities. The frame began to squeak after about a week or two, but that can be easily remedied. I took the frame apart, put a few drops of thread-locker on each screw then put it back together and the frame has been dead silent for almost 7 months now. I also love the fact that the frame can be easily disassembled so moving is a breeze. I definitely recommend this frame, just learn from my mistake and have some thread-locker on hand when you first put it together. ... show more

I ordered this bedframe with the specific purpose of being able to store things underneath. It has worked out perfectly, I simply put a mattress on top of the frame instead of mattress and box spring. If I had put both on top, it may have been pretty tall. As it is now, it is perfect for me to simply sit on it with much effort and I am 5'5" high but it is kind of a climb for my young kids to get on. The box that the frame came in was quite heavy, but I was able to Assemble the frame within 20 minutes. Once put together it was easy to move. With a mattress on it seems very sturdy, and I have been able to store the things that I desired underneath. One great thing about this frame, if you notice that the corners are rounded. So hopefully that will prevent from injuries to the knees and feet when navigating the bedroom . ... show more
