This bed was so sturdy and so easy to put together even my husband could follow the directions! But honestly, no regrets. I purchased two of these for my mother’s guest room to replace some old funky creaky bed frames. Very quiet and solid construction. They brought new life to a couple of old flimsy box springs and mattress. You could also use these without a box spring but she had some skirts that needed the height that required a box spring with the bed frame height. The wood slats sit in a groove rail with a long strip of velcro that is already attached to the slats and rail. So easy and well designed. We added the “My Pillow” mattress toppers and it’s like we have new beds. Only wish we had done this long ago. Don’t hesitate and well worth the money. ... show more

    • Arrived slight damaged but easily fixed

I was trying to find a platform bed frame that was not too tall, most I found were 14" or above and that was simply too tall..so I found, and nearly settled on a 10" but last minute found this one. Now, I will mention I purchased one listed as "packaging damaged" via the Amazon Warehouse. It saved me about $60. It showed up yesterday, and some areas of the packaging were what I expected, however, Bar A and B on the right side that attach to the front part of the frame, were bend inward. A worse than B. However, this to me was no big deal because I am fairly resourceful and quick thinking, and it was nothing that a quick but firm grip and a pair of pliers could not fix by simply bending it back out. Bars then slid right onto the front section with no issue. As far as putting it together? Overall it was so freaking EASY. We upgraded from those old fashioned bed rails that are held together with clamps and I was tired of my ankles getting bruised or cut when I walked around them. Fantastic platform. Love the all metal construction and slats. Plenty of room for air to circulate so your mattress stays fresh. I actually bought this, to set inside of my last bed frame, which only lasted a few months. I removed all of the old slats and supports, and this nestled in like a glove. The old bed had those bowed wooden slats, and they just kept snapping, one after the other. The outside of the old frame is a soft, faux leather, with a nice angled backrest, so I wanted to be able to keep that part. This was a great solution. This frame would be great alone, as a modern, clean look. Buts it’s also a great start if you want to build something around it. Overall, extremely satisfied. My Purple mattress fits wonderfully on it. The corners don’t stick out, so nothing to slam my shins on when walking around the bed. The slats are very supportive. I would purchase again, but I don’t think I’m ever going to have to do that. ... show more

Absolutely love this frame for my King Bed! I waited 6 months to review and here’s the honest feedback: - I’ve upgraded from a full to a King, and well worth it. The frame is way better and sturdier than my last frame. - It’s an affordable frame, super budget friendly, and you get ALOT of value for the money you spend on this. I live in NYC and wanted something that didn’t consume my entire bedroom like a bulky frame. this frame was NOT that. Yes it’s a king bed so that’s the size part of it it being bulky, BUT once you put this together you’ll see that the focus is on the cozy bed itself - and not some bulky frame. Definitely get this people! - Looks sleek and modern ( that’s my apartment vibe ) so it worked perfectly! When the frame does show, it looks slick and not cheap. my oversized comforter hides a lot of the frame. I love it because when I go to bed it is an illusion of crawling into this cloud of comfiness BONUS: It doesn’t make any noise during “adult activities” and is solid!! Doesn’t move either I can’t speak to putting it together. Hired a task rabbit and realized after he put it together in like 20 mins that MAYBE I could have just did it myself? LOL Headboard: I don’t see the option to add a headboard to this frame Storage: Read the measurements. It’s low to the ground so if you had something narrow, i’m sure you could store it underneath. but again, read the measurements. I don’t personally store anything under it but my dog likes hiding/sleeping under there ADVICE: literally read the measurements and actually measure. Really liked the quality of this bed frame. Nothing fancy but the metal is thick and sturdy and the wood slats are also solid and sturdy. Good deal. We use this for my sons bed and its a good fit for a kid. No sharp edges.
