  • By far my best purchase!
Color: Blue
I live in central IL so the water quality just doesn’t work for a Kevlar or carbon fiber craft if you really plan on using a pack boat. This is amazing for just that. It’s tougher to hold up to the logs and rocks yet light enough coming in at 59lbs to still pack and move with ease. I’m 6’ 230 and can easily toss this thing over my head and carry it where I want. And in the water it’s a steam line butterfly. It moves fast and smooth. It will hold a straight line once you figure where to place your seat and foot pegs best for your weight I couldn’t be happier with mine. ... show more

  • Stable, somewhat fast & can Cary EVERYTHING!
Color: Blue
So, I did not buy my old town next off of Amazon but I have had this hybrid canoe/ kayak boat for a number of years and absolutely love it! With the seat it weighs about 60 to 63 lb but the boat itself with the seat removed is only about 55. Unlike a kayak you can flip it upside down on top of your vehicle with roof rails and strap it down like a canoe and unlike a canoe the seating is more like a lounge chair. Like a canoe you can basically carry anything and everything you can shove in it and it's still stable. I've carried full midsized Yeti Cooler on camping trips and my boat was basically the flatbed pickup that carried all the things that make River trips awesome! And yet I was almost as fast as the streamlined kayaks and tandem canoes but with probably 150 extra pounds. It's such a great boat! ... show more

  • Kayak with room for gear and a dog!
Only got out twice before I broke my leg. I like the canoe design for cargo space. But being able to paddle with a kayak paddle is the best of both worlds. Room for camping gear and a dog. Seat does take some adjusting some people don't like it. If your handy it works good and is comfortable.
