I love how reliable this camera is, especially with the floodlight, like when it detects someone, it could turn on the floodlight and it’s really cool and the camera quality is awesome. It’s easy to set up the battery life and still seen, but so far, so good. It’s really easy to use, especially on the app, and it has a good detection and everything, but only concern is battery life. I’m worried that overtime, the batteries are gonna die, and there’s no solar alternative. I just wish there was for both the floodlight and the camera, but overall good!

It took a little while, but the problem of the lights not turning on has been resolved. It just took several troubleshooting sessions and emails with Blink Tech Support over the course of about three weeks. The problem cleared after the tech support team pushed a newer version of the firmware to my Sync module. Once the update was received and I disconnected / reconnected the light fixture and the camera, the lights began to work. They also connected to my Echo devices so that I can not turn the lights on/off with voice commands. I am quite happy with how they work now. The lights don't come on. The old series 1 standalone cameras trigger more often and capture more video. I bought these to light and video anything that they are pointed at. I submitted a ticket, but have not received a satisfactory reply why the lights aren't turning on in the dark. I even granted them access to the system to troubleshoot the problem, but still no answers yet.

Big improvement on the 4 camera! I had the Blink 3 and had nothing but issues. The batteries would die after 2 weeks, it would consistently disconnect for no reason, or just stop working because it felt like it. It was very random in what it would pick up, etc. The Blink 4 seems to have remedied most of those issues, but it is still a little finicky about what it picks up. Cars go right by it and it probably picks them up 7 out of 10 times (I typically have 50-100 notifications a day). How does it miss a bright red SUV every day?!? Very weird. That being said, the camera clarity is way better than the 3 and it just works better. I've had it a few months and the batteries are holding up well and haven't needed to be changed yet. It was easy to set up, and pretty seamlessly connected to my existing Blink account. Good value for my particular needs.

I’ve been really happy with the Blink Outdoor Camera with Floodlight. I wanted a simple way to keep an eye on the outside of my home without dealing with complicated wiring, and this has been a great solution. The motion detection is reliable, and the floodlight is surprisingly bright. It lights up the area well when someone walks by, making it much easier to see what’s happening at night. I also like getting motion alerts on my phone so I can quickly check the live view, even when I’m away from home. The battery-powered design made installation much easier than I expected. I was able to mount it where I needed it without running electrical wires. The video quality is clear during both the day and at night, and the two-way audio is handy for talking to someone at the door or outside. Like any battery-powered camera, you’ll want to keep an eye on battery life if the camera is triggered frequently, but that’s a reasonable trade-off for the flexibility of wireless installation. Overall, if you’re looking for an easy-to-install outdoor security camera with a bright floodlight, clear video, and dependable motion alerts, I think this is an excellent option. I’d definitely buy it again.

Very reliable camera with sensor lights. With on and off switch. Battery life is very good. Mounting was fast and easy. And motion detection is top notch. A must have for those dark areas.

I’ve been a video camera enthusiast for 35+ years. I have seen the video industry transform and evolve. I have installed many different kinds of cameras. I’ve been a Blink customer for what feels like a decade now. Maybe Amazon could find out for me? Lol. For home security, Blink is the way to go. 1 - Price 2 - Ease and versatility of installation 3 - Software and app 4 - Expansion of security system 4 - Good customer service Just purchased a couple of the Outdoor Floodlight 4 cams. Very impressive, just like every other Blink product I’ve purchased. My Blink account is so old, I’ve never paid them a dime for any subscription. They have let me use their cloud free for this entire time. When I installed the Flood 4’s, they talked me into clicking on a link that said free trial of the new AI alerts. Pretty cool! I wonder if they are finally going to convince me to get a subscription.
