  • Quality fire wood
Material Type: Oak Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
Really good wood for a fire. Burns easily but dense so it lasts. Quality cuts. Best I have used so far.

  • Quality kiln dried wood
Material Type: Oak Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
This wood is excellent. I used it in my Kudu Grill over 2 cooks. Lights super fast and burns for a reasonable time. Would definitely buy again when I need wood as fuel.

  • Uniformly Cut
Material Type: Cherry Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
The media could not be loaded. Love Old Potters. I’m in Texas and winters here aren’t long but when they hit, they can hit hard. Logically electric bill spikes so I started looking into using my fireplace to cut back on running the heater. Best. Choice. Ever! The wood is just fantastic. Pricey, yes but I like that the pieces are mostly uniformly cut (eg not a few good pieces and the rest just kindling). I like to log cabin layer between large logs I get from HEB. Smells divine and helps the fire last. ... show more

  • Burned well
Material Type: Oak Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
The firewood worked better than expected. Great at the camp ground firepit. Fit nicely in our small travel camper. Logs were smaller than i was thinking ( maybe my fault) but lasted longer than I expected as well. Will order again.

  • Great smell, long burning.
Material Type: Oak Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
Bought this box forever ago for a camping trip that never happened. Fast forward a few months and I took this down to a fire pit on a beach. It was a bit of a pain getting it to start on that windy beach, but we managed to figure it out... mostly by using the box as kindling... and a looooot of lighter fluid But hey, it worked. Once it started going, it kept going! Very pleased with this brand. Granted, the beach closed by the time we got a steady fire going so we had to put it out before all the logs could fully burn. But for what use we got out of the box, I'd say it was still money well spent. But hey, I guess whoever used that pit the following night must've been pretty happy to have mostly unburnt logs in the pit. ... show more

  • Not for use in an offset smoker.
Material Type: Hickory Wood Size: 8 Inch Log
The description says it's suitable for smoking, however the exact opposite is true. I warm 1 log on the top surface of my offset smoker before then putting it onto of the coalbed in the firebox. Leaving the firebox lid open until the flame catches the log, and then closing the lid. All I get is BILLOWING acrid "DIRTY" smoke, totally unsuitable for smoking any kind of meat. Even after the log has burned over halfway through it still produces "dirty" smoke which is NOT what you want for smoking ribs, brisket etc. This maybe OK for an outdoor campfire but not anything else. ... show more
