I would have rated this rug a 5 except the description said it’s beige and the rug is actually green; a sage type green. Initially I was upset as I expected a color different from what I received. However, green is a neutral color and I can make it work in the room so I’ve decided to keep it. I like the pattern and the quality but this is absolutely not a beige rug. This is an absolutely beautiful carpet. I am extremely pleased with the purchase. Please note that the background color is a pale sage color as noted by someone else. All colors are lovely.

Be sure to check as the thickness of rug can make it impossible to use door without cutting on door. Seller is impossible to work with if you can't use due to the thickness!!

This rug was shipped quickly from India the morning after my order was placed. Was well packaged for the journey to USA. From being rolled, the rug does need time to relax and air out (per instructions). I did not notice any odor as some comments (or answers) indicated. Also, there is a backing which looks to be cotton. Initial quick inspection shows no visible defects. The rug background is not beige but several shades of muted greens. Having read the comments, I took a chance hoping for the green tones. Other reddish, light tan and dark tan colors are also muted but the scarlet flowers (tulips?) pop. I love this design and color combination which helps brightens up my old hardwood floors. ... show more

Rug is attractive, however the flowers in the design are not detailed and the edging is apparently wrapped in jute and is uneven, see photos. Overall we are happy with our purchase. Rug took a month to arrive from India, no tracking until the last week. Was very well wrapped in plastic to keep it clean and seller promptly answered our question about tracking. subtle colors and thickness are good. I haven't had it long. It is shedding like other tufted rugs I have bought. The shedding is temporary as far as I remember and regular vaccuming takes care of the problem

The rug is very pretty...I agree with other reviews about the colors being a little muted compared to some of the photos, but this is mostly around the border. The tulips are very colorful and cheerful. I was happy to be able to buy a wool rug for such a good price.
