This conditioner is wonderful for color-treated blonde hair, and I use it with the Olaplex 4P shampoo. The best part of these products is how they help maintain your blonde highlights and keep them from getting brassy. Like the shampoo, I only have to use this once or twice a week to help maintain my hair between treatments. It's not strong/overwhelming, but I love the smell of the conditioner, and it also helps to detangle my long hair and make it easier to comb through after towel drying. Good product! It definitely helps reduce brassiness and makes my blonde hair look brighter. My hair feels softer, but I wish it added a bit more moisture. Still, I’m happy with the results.

I have tried other products to remove yellow tone but Olaplex is the best. Leaves the hair soft and not greasiness. IF you have highlights must be use alternate with regular shampoo. The cost is a little higher but is value for the money.

Sounds strange to complain, but you have to be careful with this product. I did my usual routine with Olaplex conditioner and didn't rinse it all out, so my hair had a purple tinge. Also cannot leave it on for 5 minutes.

I've used this product for several years and this order or batch was not like previous. Shampoo does not suds and leave my hair greasy looking. Probably will never buy again. Since I didn't open the bottle till last week of January, missed the return window. 30$$ wasted!!!!

I love the Olaplex line so much. I have been using the 4 & 5 (in addition to the oil, masque and leave in treatment. All wonderful!) and love the luxurious and concentrated features of those. I recently had my first bayalage and was thrilled to pick this up on sale, expecting the same moisturizing properties. Granted, I have never used a tinted system of any brand before and have no basis for comparison. The product had the look and feel of purple ink? I used twice the amount I would of the regular shampoo and could not work up any lather. The conditioner was the same but just slightly thicker (like a baby shampoo) and did not seem to....condition. After I let my hair dry, it was just a big fuzzy mass. No curl definition and looked absolutely parched. This was with using the oil and leave in on damp hair as per my usual routine. I will say that it definitely brought the lighter shades in my hair to life, but compromised the other benefits I am accustomed to seeing from the Olaplex line. I don't think I will rely on this for my regular routine. I wash my hair 2 or 3 times a week and will likely just use it once every week or two - or follow the shampoo up with the masque (but the conditioner wasn't cheap). I just personally do not feel I can rely on this for continuous use. * Update. I have been using it for a few weeks now and it does actually get better from the frizz point. My curls are still limp. I have been following up with a conditioning mask once a week and am still using the leave in styling treatment and oil after every wash. My hair is beginning to feel as it did before starting this product. Still, for the amount I have to use vs the cost, It's unlikely that I will reorder. ... show more
