When I turned it on, the heat worked for a few minutes, then stopped and gave an error code. I tried the troubleshooting instructions to no avail. I contacted the company and they sent out a second fireplace (not the mantel) at no cost to me. The customer service was amazing, they responded quickly, kept me up to date on the process of sending out the 2nd one, and made sure to do everything to make the situation easier and with absolutely no hassle. The materials were packaged well and not damaged and although it’s particle board, it’s heavy and very sturdy. I specifically bought this because of the specified stone veneer, which is sometimes used as kitchen back splash. However, do not be deceived as I have been. It is simply a photo of stone veneer printed on flat Formica laminated to particular board. Very disappointed.

The media could not be loaded. Mine is in my diningroom. I purchased this one because of its size of the heating box. I wanted a stone look on it somewhere, although this isn't real.If those would have real stones, OMG I would've gave this 5 stars. I like the drawer because I can have it open and showcase small decor. I would have liked more color options. I like the wood look of it. I definitely love the overall size of its entirety. Takes two to assemble. There are only three colos to choose from, and thats enough for me. It's heavy. I recommend it! ... show more

Took a while to assemble, but pieces were exact and instructions clear. Everything seemed to indicate quality: design, materials, and finished product. Naturally, this isn’t a real fireplace, but as an electric I’ve never seen one better. You won’t be disappointed.
