I have always wanted an electric fireplace, and I spent years searching for the right one. I was looking for a fireplace with a certain height, plus it needed to be sturdy,and have the right color. I was extremely picky. Lol. I read soo many reviews from different brands and different websites and then I finally found this fireplace. It was exactly what I wanted. It finally arrived to my house with several boxes and they were extremely heavy. When we opened one of the boxes we saw that the three main wood pieces of the fireplace was damaged (part 1,2,3). I was so upset. My husband and I took pictures of the broken pieces and then I reached out to the company to let them know what happened. In situations like this you never know how any company would reply back, to be honest, I thought nothing was going to happen and I would be stuck with this broken fireplace. I was completely wrong! When I reached out to them and provided all the pictures they apologized that it was delivered this way and they gave me several options on what I wanted to do. They offered some of my refund back and asked if I wanted to see if I preferred to hire someone to fix it or they could send the three new parts that were damaged. They were completely honest with me and stated that they were concerned that just sending these three parts to me they might end up damaged again. I told them that I was really looking forward to this fireplace and I wanted to just get the three new parts. They replied that instead of sending me just those three parts, they sent me a whole new box with all new pieces in it just to make sure that it is less likely of a risk of damaging those parts. I was blown away! The new box was at my house in just a couple of days and everything in the box was perfect. We just finished putting the fireplace together and it looks amazing!! This is a quality furniture piece. I'm not gonna lie, it was a 3 hour assembly task for me, but it was worth it. The materials are very good quality and there was only one issue with the engineering (I'll get into that later). All the holes lined up perfectly, there were no missing parts, the packaging was stellar (I'll add more later), the shipping was fast, seller response was quick and accurate.... we're just super pleased with it and it looks great. Pros: * The fireplace is stylish. I love the extended glass front, it looks great. * The fireplace is very solid. * Tight fits, base fasteners are long and it is very strong and sturdy. * Hinges and drawers are sturdy with no wobble or flex. * Heater and lights work great and look amazing. Cons: * FedEx delivered it with lots of outer carton damage. We immediately contacted seller who advised us to open the package to inspect and identify damage and they would replace. They also said the packaging was designed to protect the items and even though one entire corner was crushed, only one piece was cracked (item #32) and it did not need to be replaced. *On the right side of Item #2 there should have been a slot to receive the back panel Item #33, which was not there. This affected the bottom base Item #3 from being properly attached in step 18. After we identified the issue, we removed the back panel #33 and sanded it down so that the base Item #3 could be flush. No big deal, but some people may not have the ability to make modifications and this could be a significant problem when attaching the base. We love the fireplace, it looks awesome in our room and would recommend it for sure. ... show more

At first we were sent half of the wrong color and we were super upset but the company quickly resolved our issue and sent us the correct color. Which we were so thankful for. The shipping was relatively fast!! Which was another bonus. This took my husband about 3 hours to make. There were a ton of pieces but directions were pretty straight forward. We also received no damaged pieces that we know of which was another bonus because I know others had that issue. This piece is so gorgeous. The heater blows out nicely and warms up a room. The ambience is breathtaking too. Obviously it's not real wood but it is solid and heavy and worth it to us!! Our only complaint is that the drawers wouldn't soft close. They are actually super hard to close so soemthing is going on with those. Hopefully my husband can fix those. ... show more

This is a great piece. Very sturdy. Delivered in two packages. Assembly instructions are very straight forward, some parts being super tedious. Took us about 3 hours to complete with a toddler running around wildly. There was one damaged piece but we made it work. Very happy with this purchase.
