Here are my observations regarding this rug: Pros - it is WASHABLE (just throw it in the washer and even the dryer if you'd like) - seems well constructed - has light rubber backing so it does not slide around - muted colors are attractive (imho) - pattern would match a variety of decorating styles - great for pet owners or sloppy children - good value for the money Cons - it is pretty thin

I'll preface my review by saying I'm not usually a fan of these types of rugs, with the very short pile, printed pattern, and chenille-type feel. I tend to think they look pretty cheap because they're not plush, they're very thin, and some of them also have the pattern printed only on the surface so the pattern disappears or distorts if the carpet fibers aren't all laying in the same direction. I'm giving 4 stars because the rug is absolutely perfect for my use case but, as with most printed rugs like this, the pattern breaks up a bit where the carpet fibers aren't laying perfectly flat. I prefer a woven rug for just about anywhere but I think a rug like this can be a good utility carpet for places like bathrooms, laundry rooms, and maybe even kitchens. I ordered this rug because the corners of my bathroom walls have a peculiar layout that precludes the use of even a small bathroom rug at the sink or at the shower without overlapping. I needed a 2x6 runner that would dry quickly, had a waterproof underside, and looked nice. Standard bathroom rugs of this size cost a fortune, but this type of rug met all my needs and for a suitable price. This rug turned out to be perfect for a bathroom! It's absorbent but dries quickly, and its softness is just lovely under bare feet. The color is vivid and I don't find the rug to look very cheap at first glance. The edging is done just as well as those on the more expensive woven rugs I own, so I don't expect the rug to fall apart any time soon. The rubber backing also provides a nice weight to it that I think will help it lay flat and is grippy enough to keep the rug from sliding on my tile.

Perfect for my high traffic areas in my entry way. Unfortunately I have carpet throughout my house and I'm hoping adding runners to high traffic areas will help with keeping it clean. This runner is thin so don't expect much cushion to it unless you put down a pad, but you can throw it straight into the washing machine easily. The fibers are soft and the pattern is pretty. As it is thin, vacuuming on a high setting is just going to clog the vacuum head. Hoping this will last a long time before I need to replace it.

This doormat is slightly shorter in length than our last one (this one is about the same width as the just the door itself and our last one was door plus frame width). It's also thinner than our prior rug, but not to the point that I'd call it flimsy, and that may actually be a benefit for washing it without getting the washing machine out of balance. I do like the overall look of the colors and tapestry-like pattern, along with the fact that it claims to be washable, and that it's affordably priced. Only time will tell regarding how well it wears over time and whether it really does end up being washable, but my initial impressions are positive, so I'm giving it 5 stars for now, and I'll adjust my review in the future if anything about my first opinions changes.

This runner has a pretty vibrant pattern. It is soft and bit on the thin side, but it lays nicely and stays put; it doesn't wad up or move around. The low pile makes it nice so my door can swing open without catching on it.
