It does have a rubber, non- slip backing but it provides no padding underneath. I added a rug pad but now I have to buy non slip grips so I don’t break my neck. Still a good rug for those with dogs and kids (or grandkids) and it’s really pretty.

Bought 3 of these rugs, and all came FOLDED up and packed in cardboard boxes (instead of being rolled up, as I expected). The crease from those folds are very apparent and won’t go away. They’ve been down on the floor for about a week and show no signs of flattening out. Very, very disappointing because the colts are perfect… but don’t buy unless you can specify better packaging, which I doubt!

I bought this rug to complement my dinning room. I love the size and thin texture, it’s like a mixture of a mat and a rug. I didn’t want a fluffy rug so this was ideal for me. It fits in my washer and dryer easily and it’s also easy to vacuum when needed. Very manageable and comfortable feel.
