These really are beautiful books. Especially for the price. The paper is nice and "heavy"/thick, they simply look high-quality, and even come with a plastic sort of pad to place underneath your current page to avoid bleeding if you're using something heavy. Myself, I'm mostly fountain pens and well, chisel-tip fountain pens and other chisel-tips for various things that tend to let ink drain as if you were pouring a drink if you let the tip sit on the paper. So far, all good. Due to the inks I use, I do leave them open to air dry however but that's not this paper, it is my ink. I cannot speak for painting. I wish I were better at it but hey, can't be the best at everything! Seriously though.. For the price I am beyond impressed. I bought an "art book" from a very well known "big box store" for around the same price and simply sitting on the shelf - without ink!!! - the pages curl ... so, I bought another of these .. and another .. for after I finish the first. They arrive in a cardboard box, aside from whatever they're shipped in which means you can feel safe that they'll be in good condition. I forget exactly how I found this brand but so far, so good. I am far from an artist. That is why it is especially important for me to have quality paper and such. It's hard enough to put my thoughts to paper. Quality inks/pencils (rare are the pencils) and paper have actually allowed me to make some decent representations. They are personal but that makes it even more important to me. I really appreciate these. This is simply a great product. Nothing more to say.

Paper quailty: very high! Very little bleeding or smudging when rubbing My fingers across pencil marks and ink dries quickly with any marker! (Personally I use ohuhu and Copic for these sketchbooks) Most times if you aren't laying down heavy layers of marker, it doesn't really seep through the page. Book cover is great for all my stickers and the thickness with sleak feel of the paper is amazing for finished full pieces, highly recommended!

Love these books! Bought one and loved it so much I bought a different size next day! Keep making these quality sketchbooks because they're the only ones ai want to use! Thanks. Only difference was the texture of the new one wasn't the same, smooth like the 8x8 ish on the 7x10 has a texture to it

I purchased this because it was something I always wanted. Why carry around pages of blending paper if it can be in one package. I needed a book for my guilty pleasure in redrawing/"referencing" artworks while my stand alone A4 for original pieces. Small rant: a lot of low star reviews think it's bleeding to the back of the page is avoidable, either they have only used the most expensive paper in the world or not experience enough with markers. I use Copic Marker Express Blending card and it still shows on the other side. It'll bleed through because at the end of the day it's a liquid on paper. But I haven't noticed major bleeding then again I'm not using this paper for professional work with layers upon layers of blending which is doable just use the plastic to make sure it doesn't get on the next page. TLDR: Exactly what you expect it would be if you have realistic expectations. Edit: A lot of people are complaining about the Ohuhu markers on the page and so I purchased myself a 48 pack and tested it out myself. The nerdy joker character being colored with the ohuhu and it would've bled through the paper onto the next page if I didn't use the plastic sheet. But this is me laying 5+ layers on certain areas and only those areas showed signs of bleeding onto the next page. I don't notice any significant streakiness that others claim or tear. It does what it's supposed to do and works perfectly fine with Ohuhu and Copic Sketch markers Pros: -Includes a plastic sheet to guarantee no bleed onto another page -Actually blends the marker well with surprising less bleed than I thought. - Fair price Cons: -Not actually A4 size. It has the A4 dimensions but they have a pre-cut nudge which means you're losing some of the paper and it's taller than A4(image above) despite marketing the dimensions of A4 which is misleading if I were to put any of them in a frame or something in the future. -Not really a con, more like expected it's heavy. I would not carry this around since it weights as much as a light laptop. So not really portable - Found that pencil were more visible even after erasing -Pens took a little bit longer to dry/set
