  • Nice Greenhouse, good quality
Material Type: PE Cover Style: 4 tier 11 shelves
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the Ohuhu Walk- in Greenhouse that is about 5x5x6.5 ft. We checked that we had all the pieces the day after it arrived. My son enjoyed putting this together. Directions were good. Greenhouse is heavy plastic. Double-stitched. Heavy zipper. Windows have velcro ALL the way around the edge & have white netting. My son is 6ft tall and has to duck under the door to get in, but he can stand up inside the greenhouse. I like the vented windows. The one at the top at the back lets the heat out so the plants won't get too hot mid-day on a sunny day in winter. The shelves are not sturdy enough for a heavy pot unless you double up the shelves. I did double them & I could still use the clips. In my video you can see a thick ceramic pot filled with soil sitting on the shelf I doubled. Part of the pot is resting on the pole. I am looking forward to putting more plants in the greenhouse. I think if you were using plastic pots, and not very large pots, the shelves would be fine. This is a perfect product for starting large trays of seedlings in the spring. I like that I could remove some of the shelves at the back. This did not effect the stability of the greenhouse. If you took out all the shelves & interior poled & just left the outside frame, it might effect the stability. There is a wide flap around the base of the greenhouse so you could put sandbags or cinder blocks around the base, or rocks like we did. I put some weedblock fabric down on the concrete. I think this greenhouse will last multiple seasons. All parts were included. Nothing missing. Poles slid easily into the plastic connectors with a little twisting. Cover fit perfectly over the frame. I do wish the ribbons on the door were a little bit longer, just so I don't have to carefully roll up the door so tightly every time. We had some very large pots for our tomato seeds so we removed a shelf at the back and put some stepping stones down. This allowed the pots to span the poles on the ground. Some plants, like cabbage, don't mind the cold so much & I think I could germinate seeds in here then once they are established move them out in the garden. Then maybe use a cold frame or some hoops when it is below freezing here in Tennessee. ... show more

  • Nice little set up
Material Type: PE Cover Style: 3 tier 12 shelves
Believe it or not this little green house can work for the smalltime gardener. The photos show stages of building. The items are poles, plastic PVC like joints, and a great green sturdy cover. Pros: Pretty large Shelves hold 22# each! Even if a joint comes undone, it's easily refastened. Quick set up in a few hours. Easily dismantled. Simple. Cons: The joints and aluminum poles come apart fairly easily. Be prepared to patiently redo this plenty of times including if you tripped and fell on it. Just reassemble it. There's half as many shelf clips as needed for a truly sturdy unit. The number of clips makes the shelves wobbly. I tried clipping with four per shelf and it was much improved. Cheap company because these fasteners wouldn't cost much to throw in double the amount. The shelves can catch on clothing and come undone a bit easily. It's hard for an older person to get down onto the floor to tie the flaps. Plus they're a bit too short for older arthritic fingers. Watch out for the stability ties that stake into the ground, they're excellent trip hazards for unobservant gardeners. Try to pick a cool day, it got hot putting this together in the sunshine. There's no solid floorplan, so mine is on dirt. It might be nice to put it onto pavers or something. It does come apart and a bit easily. The top parts didn't seem as sturdy because it was too high to reach. Not sure we'll it's been designed for seasonal dismantling, or if it would remain sturdy after overwintering with ice on it. I feel that would damages it's plastic covers and rust the aluminum. The minor inconviences outweigh the benefits of having added this to my garden. Even if it lasts a few years I will appreciate that. ... show more

  • Good Little Greenhouse
Material Type: PE Cover Style: 4 tier 11 shelves
I waited to get this on Amazon Prime Day and had been wanting a greenhouse for a while. I had a lot of plants that had taken over my office and house so I needed the designated space for them. Especially when half of my plants happen to be toxic to cats and other animals. The instructions were simple and it was easy to assemble, but took time to complete. Thankfully it came with a booklet. I'd suggest keeping it in a safe place for future reference. Also, the pieces are faintly labeled with their corresponding letters. Pay attention to that when you are putting it together. It has been a few months now and it's held up well. So far the zippers are still working. It functions well for $80, I didn't want to pay more than that. It provides decent protection, but my plants did get bruned during the summer. The racks and pieces themselves are kinda flimsy, but they do the job. It comes with stakes to tie down, but we just put a propane tank down since the greenhouse is kept on the porch. I'd highly recommend keeping it secured somehow, because if it gets windy it will blow over. It tends to get very windy here, but so far mines done just fine with the weight of the tank. My plants love it. I have half random house plants and half carnivorous plants. My carnivorous plants require warmth and humidity to thrive. They did well indoors but really thrived when I moved them into this greenhouse. It has three windows plus the main entrance, which is big enough for me to easily walk through. If it gets too hot for the plants, I can just open up the windows and unzip the front to get some ventilation. Now that we're headed to the fall and winter months will be the real test how warm it will keep. Overall, it was a good buy for the sale price. ... show more
