This shampoo (and the matching conditioner) is amazing. For the record, I have very thick, long hair that tends to curl and gets easily dried out. Recently, I've stopped combing/brushing my hair because it just increases the frizziness of my hair. But my old shampoo and conditioners just weren't cutting it. I tried this on the off-chance that it would work, and boy did it! I washed it with the shampoo, throughly rinsed it, and then did the same with the condition. My hair is incredibly soft without being oily after using this. The scent is amazing too, without being overwhelming. I will be buying the bigger bottles of this stuff next time.

This is THE BEST conditioner. The scent is absolutely wonderful and my hair is super soft and manageable. I am noticing that I only have to condition twice a week now. I have set this item up on subscribe and save. I don't want to be without it.

I’m just starting the curly girl method and found this as an approved conditioner. The other one I was using was approved but it made my hair greasy feeling. This one is SO much better still gives volume without leaving my hair heavy or greasy. Smells great! I use it with the OGX damage remedy coconut miracle oil shampoo. Works great for my hair. Only downside is I can’t find it at a local store.

I found these products through a YouTube channel recommending good, lower budget shampoo and conditioner that doesn’t contain sulfates and/or parabens. I was skeptical that OGX had a product with sufficient ingredients and decided to try it for myself. For reference, my hair is typically wavy/straight, quite thick, and longer. Here are some things I like and dislike about the shampoo and conditioner. Likes: - They both have a great, lasting scent that is very pleasant. It’s a more warm vanilla and mocha scent and isn’t too fresh, but smells great. - The shampoo and conditioner is sulfate/silicon free! - It’s great at preventing any frizziness to my hair. - It doesn’t leave the “squeaky” clean feeling in my hair! - I could definitely feel the difference in my hair between this and my previous Pantene products. - Both products left my hair very soft! Dislikes: - I believe there may be some fragrance in this product which isn’t typically what I would look for in a shampoo. - This product isn’t EWG verified. - The conditioner is extremely thick and the tubes push out too much conditioner for me. - The conditioner causes my hair to become greasy on the ends, which is quite surprising, but could also not be for my hair texture. It may be too moisturizing. Overall, this was a great product and worked overall. I’m glad I found this when looking for something sulfate/paraben/silicon free and helped me to later find better products for me in the future.

Okay I LOVE this shampoo AND conditioner set. I switched to the CG (Curly Girl) method about a year and half ago. I was going through trying to find a shampoo conditioning set that was reasonably priced that worked well. THIS PRODUCT is exactly that. I have tried more expensive brands that advertise as “Curly Girl” approved and didn’t like them as much. They stripped my hair too much and didn’t put enough moisture back in. This shampoo is considered “low poo” because it lacks sulfates (suds basically). My hair just loves this brand and ingredients more than the expensive ones I tried. I don’t notice the scent much, it’s pleasant but mild. I will add for anyone on CG method or looking to start that I do use a deep conditioner (different brand) about once a week in addition to this.

The product was ok it does moisturizer hair not very good into keeping the hair frizz free.It gives my hair a dull look like I haven't done my hair in days.I will not buy this product again it's not thick and creamy more so water base smell nice,instead of keeping the frizz under control my hair styles look trouble I have to wear a hat to hide my hair.

I used to have to constantly change out my shampoo and conditioner brands because after about a month or so they would start doing more damage than good to my hair. I have been using the shampoo and conditioner in this line for almost a year now and my hair looks healthy it is soft and frizz free!

I've been an avid user of the OGX hair product line for quite some time. This is by far my favorite hair butter. To my disappointment, I can not find the product anywhere in stores anymore. Amazon seems to always make things that disappear reappear in my life! I have coarse Asian hair & this hair butter makes it so soft & smooth. The smell of it makes me want to eat it...you have to smell this to understand. People ask me all the time what I'm wearing & they don't believe me that it's my hair that smells so great!
