Fairly easy to put together. The material of the actual desk top is quite scratch adverse though, and overall it is light. I typically push against my desk to move my chair back in preparation to get up, but doing that with this desk does not feel wise as it shakes quite a bit. I've been considering a standing desk for a while, but I knew that I needed one longer than 55 inches. When I found this plus the added L portion, I was sold. The box came well packaged though it is HEAVY! Just be prepared you may need help bringing it inside. Definitely build this in the room it is intended to be in for convenience as well. It didn't take long to build, possibly about an hour with conversation. It helps to have someone assist with the building, but I believe they're truly only a necessity when flipping the desk over. The desk is very secure and stable when raising and lowering. I definitely recommend this for the value. I will most likely purchase another for my husband because he is jealous of it now. ... show more
