Cool camera. Neat a PSP could do this in 2004.

  • 100% grate!!
At first I thought it didn't work. But it was all because my psp had so much dust from never having anything there that I couldn't connect. Just find something small, clean it out, and you've got yourself and excellent camera for your PSP!! It had fast shipping, good packaging and customer service for when I couldn't figure out why it didn't work (one again the guilty party was my own PSP) I would recommend this camera, my psp never goes anywhere without it. It's small so I'm able to put it in my PSP case. All I have to do is reattach it and it works quickly. ... show more

  • Feels to fake
I was exited at first when it had arrived, but then when I plugged it in to check the cameras quality it didn't turn on I though it was broken, right away I thought about requesting to ship it back to the seller but then I realized it was pretty cheap so I fooled around with it for a while and opened the camera to realize that something was loose inside and it fixed itself I guess once I opened and put it back together, but now it cuts off randomly like 10 seconds and it turns off, I get no error message so it is plugged in right and the light is lit up so I know it works correctly but the random cut offs, and the fact that I had to open it to take a look inside, the camera is fragile enough I thought i was gonna brake it, so over all I'm not to proud of this purchase. p.s. sorry that's just my feedback on this product. ... show more

  • PSP Rocks!
I am an electronics enthusiast and enjoy getting the full potential of my toys. I purchased this camera specifically for Skype ignoring all the reviews that it is not compatible with Skype for the PSP. First off, let me say that my PSP 3000 has CFW 6.60 PRO-C and that the camera worked fine right out of the box. I quickly went to Skype hoping that someone was missing something and that I would find some tool that would allow me to use my camera. Alas, there was nothing. This did not put me down. I am somewhat familiar with the program PSPKVM for the PSP that allows you to run JAVA based programs (.jar/.jad) and have Opera Mini running smoothly from it. I figured I could download a mobile version of Skype and run it with the program. Doing some research, I found Skype Lite which was released for many different cell phones. I downloaded one and installed into PSPKVM and low and behold, it worked! I am able to make video calls on Skype with my new GO!Cam450x! I am now off to see what other secrets this little device can do! ***UPDATE*** I have been informed that Skype Lite is no longer active and will not work for my previously used method. If you know of any other tricks or methods of video chatting from the original PSP's, please feel free to add a comment on my review! ... show more

  • Awesome little camera
I absolutely love this camera! I hoping that Sony made an accessory that would allow me to take pictures with the PSP. I found this online and just had to have one. I am always playing the PSP system at restaurants and just about everywhere with my kids and I never seem to have a camera handy when they do funny stuff. Now with this camera, I can take pictures anytime, anywhere. Sometimes the camera will not work, but i've found that it just has been knocked out of the groove a little. Like in the other reviews, the PSP sometimes doesn't recognize the camera when it's plugged in, but just restart the system and boom, there it is. I love it! ... show more

  • pretty descent
i wanted to make my psp useful for something other than a music player, movie player, and gaming. the only downside is that it requires firmware 6.0 or better, and i have mine modded just below that version. and i have noticed it only works on the psp 1000. i also had a psp 2000, but the system wouldnt recognize that it was plugged in, and it had the most up-to-date firmware (stock firmware). i dont know if itll work on any of the new psp or not. ... show more

  • Works like a dream with my PSP 3001
Works like a dream with my PSP 3001 with Firmware version 6.60. I also uploaded some pictures showing the cam with my PSP. Just installed it right from the box and it worked! Video and images are good quality (like VGA). For the price it was worth trying and it works.
