This is my 3rd printer I have bought from comgrow. First printer was an ender 3, I had so many issue with it(all nooby beginner mistakes) and they helped me every step of the way. If a part broke they would replace it as long as the printer was under warranty. They have the best customer service I have ever encountered. Now for this printer, it is fantastic, i bought it on the prime day sale for the same price I bought my original ender 3 for. Theres a couple things i wish would of came on this printer, filament run out sensor, all metal extruder, pei bed. But not a big deal, it did however come with a silent motherboard, abl, upgraded fan shroud, notches for the rails to lay on and more. This printer was ready to go as soon as it was put together didn't even get it off the work bench before running the first test print and it came out flawlessly. Everyone will tell you creality machines are junk don't believe them. if you have any type of repair skill these are easy to diagnose and really simple to fix once you get the hang of it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Overall, the printer works well. A couple of things, my main reason for purchasing this was that it mentioned working with Linux. The recommended software does not have a working Linux install, so you have to use the Windows version via wine. I tried to get in touch with someone on the site, but didn't get a response. To be fair, I didn't contact the seller directly via Amazon. That said, the software did not work well for me, making gcode files that tried to hurry the prints and made terrible messes of filament. I almost resented the purchase. But then I installed open-source PrusaSlicer and it created flawless files. The next problem was that the nozzle needed to be replaced, once it got clogged it damaged the bed. So keep an eye on prints if the nozzle acts up, as they don't seem to last long, but after nozzle replacement, the prints are perfect. ... show more

I bought this 3D printer off the reviews and all the YouTube video reviews, well let me say as a beginner I was so frustrated. I have a huge craft room with a cricut and heat presses and I’ve made my own files so I do have some computer skills. Ok after we put it together which to took watching YouTube videos. trying to load the filament was a whole Nother problem. The hole you have to feed the filament through was ridiculous. Let’s just say it’s not easy. So I finally get the filament through and the sd card in and print the boat that’s on the sd card. The boat is stuck so tight to the bed plate no matter what I do it won’t come off. I finally get it off but the bottom tears off the boat, now I’m really aggravated. I’ll start over tomorrow. Next day let’s try and make the rabbit on the sd card same thing, the bottom tears off. I get on line and order a flexible magnetic bed plate. Couple days later let’s try again. Now it won’t stick at all. After watching so many YouTube videos I hair spray it and still won’t stick to the magnetic plate, so I put the glass plate back on. We decide to level the bed plate. Back to YouTube again. So many hours wasted! Let’s just say I never got anything made whole. I wasted a lot of hour and aggravation and filament. I looked and my husband and said it’s not worth it I’m done. So if you have the patience be my guest order it. But it didn’t work for us!!! ... show more

    • BUY THIS PRINTER!
This 3d printer is AMAZING for the price! First print was almost perfect, right out of the box! So simple to use and the maker's software is not only free, it's also easy to use. Combine that with the various blueprint marketplaces and you're UNSTOPPABLE! Took me about an hour to setup which wasn't bad considering I'm a complete 3d newbie. Is this one as good as an $800-$1000 machine? Not from what I've seen, but for someone just getting into this, it's perfect. Here are the only 3 cons I have about this. 1. The setup manual, while comprehensive, has diagrams that are really tiny. Get a magnifying glass to really see the parts OR watch a setup video on YouTube. 2. The power supply fan is a little noiser than I anticipated but not a deal-breaker 3. the clips that hold on the glass table top slip off pretty easily. Get extras just in case you bend one, or for extra security during printing. ... show more
