    • Clean, simple and sturdy
The media could not be loaded. I love the clean look, sturdy and fits in nicely under the TV (it’s a 60” and the tv is 55”- - definitely it should be placed about 6-7 inches and centered under the TV (not above the TV stand doesn’t look as good above eye level). Would recommend two handymen/women to install, mainly because it is heavy and hard to balance it yourself, keep it level, and you need a stud finder. It must be attached to the wall studs for safety and sturdiness. Bar for attaching to the studs was better than other shelves of this type. The installer used a cable management enclosure (got on Amazon it’s a foam cable management piece which hides and centers the wires) to hide the wires (the photo is before I had that done. ) There are no doors on the floating shelf, so the good points are that it’s easy access to your remotes and cable boxes, sound bars etc. You don’t have to worry about tv stand doors that have problems closing or are uneven. But the only downside to that is that there are no doors to hide the wires. You still see them inside the unit as there are no doors. I like the simple clean look and sturdiness. Took a long time to figure out which one to get and I’m pleased with my purchase. ... show more

I like how heavy this thing is. Not cheap, looking, flimsy, or anything of the sort. The only thing I’d suggest is the instructions be beefed up. I got it together just fine, but the instructions/pictures could be improved.

Had to reorder due to some damage the first time around. Had it returned and refunded quickly. Second time around no damage. I mention this because although it’s a good shelf overall, it’s made of packed wood so it can be easily damaged. So good luck! As far as the shelf itself, it’s a decent one. Easy to assemble and install. It says you need two people but one can do it. The shelf is smooth but a bit bulky and is big. So have a good sized wall for it. I wish I could say I was completely happy with it but I can’t. It’s easy to put together and looks nice on the wall but it’s made cheaply and bulky. ... show more

I installed this in my basement. The only thing I wish is that my basement wall was straight. lol. It looks great and holds all the gaming devices. I ran the TV wires in the wall at the same time. What a cool functional piece of furniture. I love that it looks like it's floating.

This might look cheaply made in the pictures but it is far from it. Some what heavy and seems very sturdy, finish is nice. Assembly is very easy, mounting it may be a problem for some if your not handy with a tape measure and level.

Well see for yourself in the picture. We managed to get it put together, but we cannot get this heavy thing mounted to the wall. We are not newbies when it comes to mounting things on the wall. I am also concerned that if we do get it mounted, this thing will not hold up and it will fall. It's not worth it because I have a young child and she could get very hurt by this product. The directions are garbage. Even when putting this together, the holes weren't quite drilled right and we had to improvise. If you have a bit of money to spend, get off of Amazon and get a better quality piece of furniture like I'm about to do. ... show more
