  • Exactly as described.
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 10”
It seems a decent quality puller. The maximum depth of pull is a little less than 10", to allow for the hooks. The parting lines on the cross-bar casting finish have been smoothed. The breadth of pull is wide even for exterior pulls. There are two spring-loaded tabs to retain the hooks. I use this to pull pressed bearings from large truck spindles in drum brakes. With a good puller it is uneventful. But this application did not stress the strength of the screw, so I cannot evaluate how well it would withstand a hard pull job. I can say there are no graduations on the crossbar, nor notches or other means to ensure the hooks are equally spaced from the screw. The job I use this for doesn't need them. But if you had a harder pull, with more force on the screw, you'd need some way to ensure it was perfectly aligned. But for the low price point this is hard to beat. ... show more

  • Well-Built Tool, Just a Bit Too Small for My Brake Drum
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 10”
Great Quality Tool — Just Make Sure It's the Right Size for Your Job I ordered the 10" BILITOOLS gear puller to remove the rear brake drum on my 2014 Hyundai Accent. Unfortunately, it ended up being just a little too small for the job — it couldn’t quite reach or grip well enough to pull the drum off. That said, I was actually impressed with the overall build quality. The jaws feel solid, the threads turn smoothly, and the whole thing has a sturdy, well-made feel to it. It really seems like it could handle a lot of force without any issues. While it didn’t quite fit my specific use case, I can absolutely see it being perfect for smaller tasks — like pulling pulleys or bearings. Just a heads-up: if you're planning to use it for brake work on larger drums, make sure to double-check your measurements beforehand. Hope this helps someone else find the right size tool for their project! ... show more

  • The 3" tool made removing my wiper arms easy. See attached video.
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 3”
The media could not be loaded. This thing was a lifesaver. I tried everything to pull the front wiper arms off my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer without a tool, then started looking for a wiper puller on Amazon. It was hard to tell how much clearance most of them would have, because they showed the outer dimensions instead of the inner ones. Of the ones that did say how much clearance they had, they were too small for my use because I needed about 1½ inches of height clearance and the wiper arms are 1¼" wide. Also, some of the tools looked flimsy, and there were reviews that showed photos of broken pullers. I finally went to two auto parts store and a hardware store. The first auto parts store suggested one they had, so I measured it and said it was too small. He took it out of its packaging anyway, took it out to my Trailblazer, and of course it wouldn't fit over the post. I found tools to pull other parts, like gears and bearings, but the ones I found in the local auto parts stores were too large for my wiper arms. Then, I came across the Bilitools 3" 2-Jaw Gear Puller on Amazon. I saw a review of the 8" one that showed an image of a tool with only 5½" clearance from jaw to jaw, and other reviews said the tool they received was smaller than what was advertised. I don't know if they were sent the wrong ones, or if the descriptions were wrong. Either way, I figured the 3" tool would be large enough even if it only had 2" of clearance instead of the advertised 3, but it turned out to have more than 3¼ width clearance and more than 2½" height clearance, which was more than enough for my needs, and still not too large to fit into the tight space where the cowl would have prohibited larger tools from reaching. I can't speak for the other sizes or other possible applications, but I highly recommend this 3" tool for removing wiper arms that are too large for any wiper puller they can find. Also, the tool feels extremely sturdy, so I have no doubt it would do well with pulling gears and bearings. I've attached a video to show how I used this 3" tool to remove a wiper arm on my 2005 Chevy Trailblazer, where the cowl creates a tight space. ... show more

  • Heavy Duty!
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 10”
I ordered this when I could not pull off rear drums that were "nested" if that makes sense. These drums had kind of a turned down "neck" that fit inside the backing plate (Honda Insight Gen 1) and this tool was much too coarse to do the job. I modified it to no avail. I then kept it as I could not return it after the grinding I did. Since, it has been used to pull a stuck rotor off my wife's Cadillac and again on the wheel bearing/hub that was noisy. I was glad to have it. I am certain I will use it again. ... show more
