  • When you need pulling power on a bar
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 10”
I bought this puller to pull mid side propellers off of small Yachts. This tool works great. It is built strong, and adjusts with ease. It is has de-dent pins, to reverse the pulling arms in a flash. They make several sizes. I bought the 8" inch puller bar. I recommend this tool.

  • Great puller
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 4”
This puller worked perfectly. It is well built, arrived on time and was well packaged. Unlike most, it was not covered in oil.

  • Good quality
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 8”
Ordered the 8inch but I got the 6inch so that was lame but otherwise build quality seems very nice. I used the center screw as a punch with a 6lb sledge and it held up great.

  • Exactly as described.
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 10”
It seems a decent quality puller. The maximum depth of pull is a little less than 10", to allow for the hooks. The parting lines on the cross-bar casting finish have been smoothed. The breadth of pull is wide even for exterior pulls. There are two spring-loaded tabs to retain the hooks. I use this to pull pressed bearings from large truck spindles in drum brakes. With a good puller it is uneventful. But this application did not stress the strength of the screw, so I cannot evaluate how well it would withstand a hard pull job. I can say there are no graduations on the crossbar, nor notches or other means to ensure the hooks are equally spaced from the screw. The job I use this for doesn't need them. But if you had a harder pull, with more force on the screw, you'd need some way to ensure it was perfectly aligned. But for the low price point this is hard to beat. ... show more

  • Multi use tool

I used it to pull the clutch off a motorcycle. Worked perfect

  • This tool belongs in the trash.
It is not aligned correctly and will will not hold its shape and simply moves apart as you tighten the center pin. The turn outs at the end of the tool do not stick out beyond the width of the flange and don’t allow a good hold. It may work for a very simple application and an easy to get to spot, with a vertical alignment, anything else, save yourself the headache and buy a better tool. I bought this tool for pressing the steering mounts off of an outboard motor, after two days of frustration I bought a more expensive version of this tool, and had the mounts off within five minutes. ... show more

  • This style of puller is just a bad idea.
Color: 2 Jaw-type a Size: 8”
So many two-jaw pullers are using this single-bar/sliding-jaw design instead of the old-school hinged jaw design. It's certainly more robust, but there's a problem with actually using this type. The old style was self-centering, where now you have to perfectly align each jaw, else you'll be putting force at an angle. That's nearly impossible, and as a result you end up spending as much time fiddling with the jaws as you do on any other part of your project. It eventually gets the job done, but I will be finding a more durable hinged-jaw puller for future projects. ... show more
