Features

  • Drop-forged CR-V steel jaws are heat-treated for extra strength and durability. This 3-jaw removal tool works with your wrench, ratchet, or spanner as a gear puller, sprocket puller, bearing puller, pulley puller, flywheel puller, and more
  • 3 jaws come with fine chrome plating to provide reliable and effective rust and corrosion protection. The drive screw is covered by black phosphatizing, which provides maximum strength and longevity to the gear puller, puller jaws allow for easy gripping and access to tight spaces. No need to assemble yourself is the advantage of DURATECH
  • Each of the 3-jaw gear and bearing pullers can be reversed to pull parts from either the inside or outside. Universal 4 or 8-position reversible jaws offer an inside or outside grip with short, standard, long, or extra-long reach
  • The 3-jaw design balances the pulling force well, and claws are precisely machined to give a non-slip and secure grip on the gears. Make it deal for pulling work in confined areas. Achieve more with its adjustable and reversible jaws
  • Use the DURATECH 3, 4, 6, and 8-Inch Gear Puller 3 Jaw Flywheel Puller Set to remove most shift-fitted parts with ease. Perfect for you to smoothly and safely slide gear, pulley, bearing, and flywheel off the shaft

They aren't snap on tools. They weren't expensive. They worked for what I needed . Can be a little complicated switching legs around etc. But worth the flexibility

Product arrived promptly in perfect condition! Saved me a lot of time while changing out bearings on my mixer. Easy to set-up and use, I would highly recommend this puller set! Very handy addition to my shop tools! Grip was much more stable than my old 2 leg puller. 5 star seller! Don't let the cheap price fool you, these are just as good as the higher priced ones i was looking at. ... show more

  • Great puller set!
Size: 3", 4", 6", 8‘’
I just received my Duratech 4pc gear puller set and immediately put it to use removing a motor pulley that I wasn’t able to remove with pry bars. Upon initial inspection and use, I’m really impressed with the quality, especially for the price. They seem really well made and have a nice fit and finish. Of course, the true test will come with a tough removal job. I want to comment on a couple of reoccurring complaints in negative reviews posted here. First, I’ve used quite a few expensive, USA made pullers in my job as an equipment mechanic. I’ve never seen a quality set that used lock nuts to hold the arms together. The idea is that you want to be able to change the arm configurations quickly, using only your fingers. Nylock nuts would require using two wrenches to do this. If you’re using the pullers as intended, the nuts should stay in place just fine. Also, I’ve seen complaints that the fingers of the puller arms don’t lay flat under the gear, pulley, etc. and that they will sometimes damage a bearing seal because of it. First off, the angle of the fingers is totally dependent on the diameter of the part you’re removing. Try using a smaller or larger puller if the finger angle is not working. To the other complaint, this is not a bearing puller! Also, some folks have complained that the fingers are too deep/thick to fit between a bearing and end bell or other adjacent surface. Shallower fingers are weaker and will be more prone to bending or breaking. If you need to save the bearing you’re removing, try using a bearing separator/puller kit. No puller will work for all applications. That’s why most commercial shops have a half dozen (or more) different sizes and types. Anyway, so far I’m very impressed with this kit. ... show more
