The OEMTOOLS 24449 5 Gallon Tire Bead Seater makes it a blast to reseat your tires. This tire bead sealer tank can hold a maximum of 150 PSI, and it is easily filled by standard shop air compressors. This tire seating tool works for tires from 4 inches to 24-1/2 inches, so you can reseat lawnmower tires, truck tires and everything in between. Using this air tire bead seater blaster is much faster, easier, and safer than other methods involving straps, soaps, or even starting fires. Also, the lip at the end of the tire seater makes it easy to position the air current at the perfect 40 degree angle, so you can seat the tire beads on the first blast. This 5 gallon bead seater can also serve as a portable compressed air container in a pinch. Connecting a dual chuck (not included) to the ball valve allows you to inflate tires on the go from the air in this tire inflator and sealer. The tank and outlet are made well but I didn’t even get the valve hardware on before it broke. Didn’t waste my time getting a replacement because it’s very cheaply made… I went to Home Depot and bought better quality fittings and it worked fine.

I had never used a bead seater before, so I have no idea how this compares to others, but I can say I've needed it twice so far, and each time it worked flawlessly. I had previously attempted putting new tires on my lawn tractor using the starter fluid trick and cargo strap methods-- neither of which came close to working, despite spending hours trying. I've ended up having to have a tire shop put them on for me, which honestly seemed like it shouldn't be necessary, but I had been desperate. This time around, I decided to give this a try, and am mad at myself for not getting it sooner. After filling it up to 100psi, I put it in place, opened the valve, and POP--- the tire was seated beautifully--- first try and it worked like a champ. I did the same with a second tire, and once again it worked on the first try. As I said in the beginning, I really can't compare how this one works versus any others, as this is the first time I've used one, but given it has worked flawlessly on both tires I've used it for, on the first try each time, I cannot imagine a more expensive version is going to give me any better results. ... show more

I kept wanting one of these and just never did due to the cost. The cost has come down and this unit has a heavy duty tank and does the job well. Brace yourself when you flip the valve. It mentions being the 1st design, I see the other design has have a lower working PSI. They do have a pop off valve if you go over the working PSI. WORKS GREAT at 150 lbs! ... show more

I like the price, I'm pretty sure I bought the cheapest chinesiest one I could find on here, and I wasn't disappointed or surprised. The pressure gauge is oil filled, but seems to be leaking out (probably into the tank), and the little rim hook thing on the nozzle only ever gets in the way. I ground it off. the fill valve is cheap, etc. But, You fill it with air, it blows it out really fast, which is all you should care about in a bead blaster. I just suggest getting the 10 gallon version instead of the 5. I used mine on some really stiff misshapen 4 wheeler tires, and I wished I had the extra air. ... show more

Works the same as the 🐆 for half the price!! I was on the fence because I've used the cheetah for 20 yrs now in all of the shops I've worked at. But having purchased oem equipment before I felt comfortable about it. I bought for home use and it seats the beads just the same..plus I like green better than yellow anyways.
