Well if you're troubleshooting the charging system in a car that's under 10 years old here is a relatively inexpensive alternator for you. I can't imagine you want to walk into the Nissan dealership and give them a half a grand for a part that had failed and roll the dice again. If you are unfortunate enough to be troubleshooting an electronic gremlin, make sure you're ground is there to the frame, you can even make a second one. ... show more

The overall Quality is much better than any Rebuilt Alternator, the Mounting Holes and Serpentine Pulley matches up perfectly.     • Works, but one major issue.
It bolted right now. The only mounting issue I had was where the battery cable attaches with the two claw-like things, it was rotated about 45 degrees on this alternator, so had to finagle with that a little. Now for the deduction in stars: I can’t get the cars battery light to go off. The battery is brand new, and tests fine with a volt meter. When the car is running, the battery is being charged properly (14.2). I’ve reseated that plug that has the single Prong and made sure it’s not bent, but no dice. Reached out to other folks and apparently this is somewhat common for cheap Amazon car parts. Either way, I can live with it since the car gets very little use, but I’ll be checking the charging every once in a while. ... show more
