Can I say how awesome it is to finally have a hard shell, 4 wheel spinner suitcase that opens from the top instead of the middle like a clam shell??!! I have always liked the protection of a hard shell suitcase, and the four wheels that spin so easily throughout the airport - but I really dislike how awful they are to pack, to open, to use in a small hotel room, to try to slip something into after they are closed, or to try to quickly get something out of during travel without opening in the entire clamshell and looking like an idiot there in the departure lounge. This suitcase solves this problem. It is hard, it has four wheels that spin and wheel around easily, it protects your possessions, and you can open it from the top to quickly put something in last minute. It doesn't take up your entire hotel room. And those little luggage stands in hotel rooms - you can actually use them with this suitcase, because it has a lid instead of a clamshell. I got the 26" version which is very large - it works for what I needed it for, but I would caution - it has a ton of space and could easily be filled beyond the 50 lbs. that most airlines have for a limit. I think I will also buy a smaller size for traveling light. But the design and function of this suitcase is amazing. Clamshell never again!!

I took this suitcase to Australia and back. It made it from a small regional airport to a larger airport, across the US, then from that airport all the way to Sydney, AUS. And then did the return trip, plus moving between hotels etc in Sydney. It worked out so well. I packed it to the hilt, and it came in just over 50lbs (luckily i had a higher weight class for one piece of luggage...) loaded, and I had a bunch of books in it. Now, it kind of looks like a cooler... haha, but it has plenty of handles to heft it up, and it rolls really smoothly. I admit I was worried that the wheels wouldn't take the abuse of being thrown around while being loaded into the airplanes etc, especially with the "extra heavy" tag on it. But they did! The suitcase itself was a bit scuffed here or there, but no worse for wear- I can't imagine any other suitcase doing any better. I like that you don't have to butterfly this case open, and it opens just with a "lid"- so much easier to navigate in a hotel room. So glad I went with this suitcase.

This bag is awesome. I chose it because of the design and durability advertised. My husband purchased the cream colored version of this and he sold me on it. I loved this green color so I purchased a this large one and the smallest size too. Now my husband only wants to use my set! It's traveled through a few different airports now and hasn't gotten a scratch on it. It's super easy to push one handed, even when it's packed full. And the front opening is so great for both packing and unpacking. I usually don't like unpacking my clothes into hotel dressers, and this design is perfect for keeping my clothes in the luggage. Plus, when unpacking, it takes up WAY less space on the floor. Perfect for cruise ship cabins and other close quarters. And the built in lock is a nice touch. I'm pleased with my purchase and look forward to this lasting me a long time.

This looks like a really nice piece of luggage. The wide handle itself isn't a big deal but the extra room and the flat surface inside the case is awesome. The contrasting handle shaft color is kinda cool as well as the off white color of the case. It's quite a bit larger than I was expecting (almost too big for my needs) when compared to the 24" Mixi I ordered previously and returned due to it being too small. Based on other reviews I'm hoping the wheels will hold up, otherwise it seems well built. The only knock on this case are the dividers, wish they would have been completely removable instead of sewn in. They move out of the way but are heavy so I decided to completely remove them by unzipping the liner and taking out the stitching. The liner doesn't come completely out but it does make it easier to unzip it. I ironed the stitching holes (used the dividers as ironing boards) and it's almost impossible to tell, plus I saved 1.25 pounds by removing them.
