There's a cross brace on the back that keeps the frame sturdy--I can lean my weight on this without a worry. Its height is just below a door knob and it's very lightweight. Looks good. I enjoy the fabric design and the drawers glid effortlessly. Obviously you wont overload this due to it's size. And YES, its smaller than what it looks in photos. Make sure to read the dimensions before buying!

Tucked away in the description are the accurate dimensions of this small, narrow dresser - while every photo is of a much larger, wider dresser. Trust the measurements, not the photos. The screws that come with this are poorly made, with only the bottom half of the drive in the hex shape needed for installation. As a soft metal, they quickly stripped and I had to use pliers to manually tighten them. When I was putting this together, all the little parts we're intimidating, but I must say, the instructions were easy to read, spot on and easy to put together. Appreciate the extra parts, for just incase. The fabric drawers are nicer than I had thought. The drawers are deep and exactly what I was looking for.
