  • Love this series! Detailed characters with character!
Format: Kindle
I have very much enjoyed this series. I love how Shi has been written in such a relatable way as she struggles with everyday life and supernatural life. I appreciate the positive lessons Akers includes. Very entertaining! Wonderful YA series!

  • The entire series has been awesome. I love the story line
Format: Kindle
I can't say enuff about this book. The entire series has been awesome. I love the story line. Was so happy Shiloh and Tanner finally let each other know how they feel. I'm REALLY looking forward to their relationship advancing to the next stage. I do however get a little peeved at Shiloh when she's with Katie. Yeah I get they are bff and been thru alot together but it's time for Shiloh to stop being such a wimp when it comes to Katie. I can't wait for book number four. I hope there are alot of Shiloh and Tanner scenes. This series has it all. Keep them coming ... show more

  • Romulus
Format: Kindle
I enjoyed the book and the fact that Tanner finally admitted to Shiloh how he felt about her. Katie is a bit overbearing when it comes to her friendship with Shiloh and always using her past as a way to manipulate her into doing things for her. Shiloh still doesn't seem to be using good judgement when it comes to hanging out with Bethesda. The book seemed a bit "wordy" to me which kind of made it longer than it should have been. But, that's my personal opinion. As I said all in all, it was a g good read. Waiting patiently to read the rest of Larimar. ... show more

  • I figured this would be another coming of age story with either a complete fluffy air head hero or that she would be so bad a$$
Format: Kindle
I was surprisingly impressed with this entire series. I figured this would be another coming of age story with either a complete fluffy air head hero or that she would be so bad a$$ you would want to vomit. Honestly I started reading reading it simply because the first one was free and over 200 pages (I tend to read very quickly and prefer books that last more than a day). I was completely caught off guard with how great this entire series has been. In this installment Shilo is learning all those things that ultimately make you a ”grown up”. She struggles with her emotions and while her actions and thoughts make you want to smack her upside the head for being an idiot, it is also a painful and uncomfortable reminder of all those mistakes we all made while trying to figure out our own selves. I appreciated the fact that it made me feel again how painful some of those poor decisions of youth look on paper. Not many books have engaged my emotions like this series has. Tanner, oh my what's a girl to say. Yeah, he's one hot supernatural! He's a complete kick butt and carry on type, but he just smolders off the page and his sensitive side swirls around all that hot making you want nothing more than spend a lifetime with him. While I know this story is about Shilo developing, I found myself wishing there was more in depth on Tanner. While it does keep things amped up from Shilo’s perspective, at this point I want to know more about him. Maybe she can take some time and reflect on his actions a little more so we can get even more insight into him? I get that she's all giddy in the first stages of love, but the honeymoon can't last forever and at some point having real life day to day interactions have to occur, even for supernatural... This leads me to Silas. LOVE him!!!! The thing is, I feel like I actually know him and his motivations better than I do Tanner. He's off the charts hilarious with all of the hijinks and smart butt comments. I love the interaction and relationship development between him and Shilo. That's what I was kinda missing with Shilo and Tanner. More of the day to day interactions, like maybe some more in depth on their card games or pool matches to show the mental connection and growth. So far I'm completely loving this series and am very sorry that I've caught up with the author. Hoping that the next installment is announced soon! ... show more

  • Favorite series ever!
Format: Kindle
This is my favorite series! I love Shiloh and Tanner! This novel had a lot of humor (thanks Silas)! S.E. Akers puts so much into her writing you can't help but get caught up in each and every novel. I even cried about the Balegore! I have read all 3 books 3 times each and I am on pins and needles waiting for # 4 Larimar! ... show more

  • O.m.g. my bosom friend.
Format: Kindle
I can't wait for book 4!!!! This book brought out so many feelings in me; guilt, sadness, frustration, anger, etc, you name it!! We also get to watch Shiloh train and grew extremely powerful in this book. And oh, I love Silas!! I can't wait to see more of him in the next book. I was extremely happy with who Shiloh ends up with in this book, but I would also love to see new faces in the next book to compete for her attention. And yes, there will be a lot of sweet, romantic dates at the end of this book that you don't want to miss. It made me all hot and fluster and yes, I will probably need to take a cold shower. Lol. I would also love to see more of Damiec. What happened to him in this book??? He only made a really small appearance that probably takes up only one page. And who was the old lady that talked to Shiloh at the park?? Seraphina?? Overall, I love all 800 pages of this book!!!! Akers, I am patiently awaiting your next book, please write a lot of juicy scenes and I don't mind if your throw in some new eye candies! ... show more

  • but by the end it has gotten back to the excitement and enjoyment that I got from the rest of the series
Format: Kindle
This is the 3rd book in this series. It starts a little slower than the 1st two books, but by the end it has gotten back to the excitement and enjoyment that I got from the rest of the series. So far this has been a great series. I whole-heartedly recommend this series.

  • HUGE fan of this series - a real treat!
Format: Kindle
As I stated in earlier reviews of this series - these books keep getting better and better. I actually laughed until I was gasping for breath (a couple of times); hope we don't have to wait too long for the next one (I'm pre-ordering as soon as it's available)!
