This product (Oceanbroad) is thinner and softer than other brands I have used. However, that may not be a negative depending on your needs and preferences. The other brand I have tried seem to be made of tougher material, and perhaps, may last longer and stand up to more abuse. The product I prefer is "Non Slip Traction Mat - Non-Skid Marine Boat Flooring & Paddleboard Grip Pad".

These have held up wonderfully so far! We added them to the steps on the wooden deck that we built and they sit out in the hot Florida sun and intermittent rains day in and day out. They are still stuck to the wood, still nice and soft, no signs of wear and tear after a lot of up and down the stairs this summer. Would definitely buy again, if needed.

Works as advertised- I put this on my Sunfish to keep from sliding around when hiking out. Fit just about perfectly between the cockpit and the rail. No idea how durable it will be. My only criticism is that the color is a sort of blue- white that doesn’t match the warm white of the deck.

These pads serve to provide all of the non-skid and padded surface we need for our homemade paddle board. I used masking tape to guide their positioning, and first cleaned the painted surface with alcohol. The pads have adhered very well after several hours on the lake. They are not very big, but when strategically placed, are adequate. Larger pads are too costly for us. Time will tell if they stay put, but I am confident that they will. We plan to use them again for our second board currently under construction.
