I picked this up for my daughter's Lifetime Yukon Angler 116 fishing kayak and it's a great fit. The kayak is 138" long and 32" Wide. It goes down the sides nicely. I can't see this working for a kayak much wider than 36"-38", but I haven't tried to know for sure. I almost always keep the kayaks in the garage, but occasionally on a trip, it will sit unused outside at night. The next morning, it's often covered with dew, dead bugs, leaves, pollen, etc.. Now that I have this cover, it keeps it clean and mostly dry. These covers are advertised as being water resistant. I haven't been able to test it in a heavy rainstorm yet. I'm guessing it will "Wet out" after a while as there's not much of a PU coating that I can tell. It's light weight and comes in a 11" x 14" cinch sack for storage. Installing it is fairly easy (I did it in the wind). I started from the pointy bow. The elastic bottom of the cover gripped under the bow as I worked the rest of the cover to the back of the Kayak. Just like putting on a fitted bed sheet. You then have to run the straps under the kayak if you want to buckle it down. That involves lifting it, passing the strap under, tilting it on its side, buckling it and then pulling the strap tight... adjusting it as needed. It's possible to fit a very low-profile fold down seat underneath, but if it's a high seat as found on a Hobie, Nu Canoe, Old Town, etc., the seats will have to be removed before placing the cover over it. I can only confirm it works with my kid's kayak with the seat on. I The photos show the better fit with the seat off. As far as UV protection goes, they claim it is made for that. If it's going to sit in direct sun light, just understand that it may not fit all the way down the sides of your kayak. So there will be exposed plastic. I treat my kayaks with 303 Marine and Recreation Aerospace Protectant spray to protect against UV. You may want to do the same. If it's going to sit in harsh sun a lot, consider looking to the lighter color gray cover as lighter colors reflect better. Durability seems to be decent. I expect that over time, it will degrade in the elements. Even top dollar big boat covers so that. It's priced low enough that you won't feel the pain when it's time to throw it away at the end of its useful life and replace it with a new one. The screen printed graphic stuck to itself and was coming off a little when I unpackaged it, so If you're one who wants perfection, I should mention that. For me, It doesn't bother me. Edit: After a rain storm, I looked under the cover, and it was wet under there. It's seemingly as water resistant as a wind breaker jacket. The fabric soaked through. Had to knock off a star for that. It did keep leaves, pollen, and dirt out though.

I've always just thrown a tarp over the kayaks, but they always seem to become home for spiders and who knows what else. While this may not stop that completely, having a tighter cover over it should definitely help. The cover seems to be decent quality. Not super heavy duty, but doesn't feel flimsy and thin either. Wasn't too difficult to put on. You just have have to get the straps around the bottom so you can buckle and tighten them up. I found the easiest way was to put it over the top, buckle the ones on the ends and flip it over to do the middle one and get them all tightened. There is also enough material to allow for a bit taller seat. The kind that are made from aluminum framing and don't fold totally flat that some of the fishing kayaks come with. So far happy with it. As long as it stands up to a couple seasons of weather, it'll be a winner.

I like the basic black color. It goes with any color kayak. Upon opening the cover I noticed that the brand lettering was messed up as it was stuck to itself and peeled pieces of lettering off of the logo. The cover has a elastic cording around the edge so you can tighten as needed. There are straps that wrap around and underneath to secure the cover to the kayak. The cover is water proof and will protect your kayak from dust and bird nest during storage and non use. Comes in a draw string bag when not in use.

...but that's where they tend to end up. Having a good cover that also UV blocking is important so your kayak doesn't suffer. Fits well. But of course it's not like a tailored suit. It wraps around and covers exposed kayak surface area and that's what you want. Full wrap keeps the kayak dry. Easy to wrap around and tighten it up. Since i have two stacked kayaks, I also add a strap as an extra measure to minimize chance of strong winds pulling them off. The material seems like a pretty good weight (420D) that it will lasts several seasons without suffering any tears.
