I purchased the Oasser Air Compressor to use with our RV travel trailer. We keep it at a storage facility and I always check the tires before we take it out on a trip. For the past couple of years, I have used a manual bicycle pump. The bicycle pump was slow and cumbersome, but did provide some upper body exercise. Recently I decided to find something a little more advanced. I started with a 12V air compressor with no battery power. Since the RV is parked between a boat and another RV, the closest I can get my truck to the rear tires is about 24 feet. Therefore I needed some 12V extension cords, which did not provide enough power to operate the compressor. So I returned that compressor and purchased the battery-powered Oasser. Yesterday I used it for the first time. The tires on the RV are not huge (ST 205/75R), but they do require 65 PSI. I topped off all four tires with about 2 PSI each. This took just a minute or so for each tire. I then went to the spare tire that was about 12 PSI low. This did take much longer (5 or 6 minutes total) and I stopped at the halfway point to let the Oasser cool down as recommended in the instructions, although it was no where near too hot to hold. I had other stuff to do, so this was not really a major issue. Now that I have the Oasser, I will do a better job maintaining this tire and not have to spend 5 or 6 minutes inflating it each time. The battery still had two bars when all was finished, and only took about an hour to recharge. My initial impression is that the Oasser works well for my intended use. I have a 3 gallon 120V compressor at home for routine use with my car and truck tires, but the Oasser could do that job as well. The key is to top off your tires often and not wait until a lot of inflation is needed. That is the number one thing your can do to extend the life and safety of your tires. The Oasser is accurate to within 0.5 PSI of my other digital gauges. The Oasser is easy to use, inexpensive and I like the included accessories and molded carrying case. I especially like the battery power and preset inflation pressure feature. So far, so good. I’m hoping that it will provide many years of service for my RV.

I've had this pump for 2+ years using it roughly weekly and the battery still holds enough charge to completely fill 16 bike tires with little effort. I had to repair the pump and felt this was a good place to leave the information. The trigger mechanism on the pump started to fail, so it would either not turn on or turn on momentarily. I took it (pretty simple) and found the trigger mechanism was a toggle button (~3kOhms "open" and 3Ohms closed) which was not remaining in the closed state. Simply lightly bending the leads from the switch toward the face of the switch returned the switch to functioning as expected). As for the review (my use case is pumping road bike tires to 90psi and mountain tires to between 35 and 55 psi: Pro's: 1) Light & Small when compared with a high end bike floor pump. Took a long trip with the bikes and it was an easy decision to pack this versus the floor pump. 2) Faster than a floor pump and less effort (appreciated when I have to prep the family's bikes for a ride) 3) For the $68 I paid I can say it works better than expected. I looked for what I felt was a better quality solution and could not find one within 2x of this price. Still holding a charge. I'm not claiming this is well made - it does not feel solid and I would not be the least bit surprised if it died after 5 years. 4) For what it is the pressure gauge is pretty consistent. Cons: 1) Does not look feel or operate like a product that will last 10+ years. 2) Several parts are poorly made a) there is safety switch which flops around versus locking - it doesn't matter to me as I remove the battery pack as a safety. b) The trigger toggle button needed help after 2+ years c) The gear driven by the motor is plastic and I suspect may degrade if this was used for higher volume applications like filling a car tire. d) The plastic cover for the housing of the adapter bits never fit well and fell off If the quality of the parts / build listed above were better and I had faith in the battery I'd give it 5 stars for use as a bike pump (I have a larger cigarette lighter compressor I use for the cars). That being said, as an inexpensive pump, it's very functional and has saved me far more than $68 of time thus far.

This incredible handy tool was a lifesaver. I have had an old tow dolly out in the back yard that had to get moved. No electrical outlets for a long ways. The tires were flat as pancakes. The tow dolly would not roll a bit. So, I made sure that both batteries were fully charged, and proceeded to use this tire inflator. Within 15 minutes I had both 15" tires fully inflated. With a bit of effort I was able to get the tow dolly out to the street. I was in the process of making a sign that read "FREE," when a guy came along and said he would gladly take the dolly. The tongue portion had rusted off, so there was no way to tow it. He winched it up onto his equipment trailer, and bye bye it went. Now my yard has one less piece of junk in it. This inflator worked great. Fairly quiet. Very efficient. It did not heat up. The gauge is easy to read. It is lightweight and not at all cumbersome to use. This tool is a major winner!
